Summary: All That Remains
Review: Powerful, mysterious, suspenseful: these are all words that describe the book "All That Remains." In this book, the main character is the chief medical examiner for the police department. But when she starts finding clues on victims' bodies, she and some of her fellow cops try to figure out a baffling case of a serial killer, but the killer knows that they're on his tail. Patricia D. Cornwell does an excellent job of describing feelings, people, places, crime scenes, everything. Although the plot is great, she does get a little bit graphic when she is explaining what the killer does and what he has done. So I would recommend this book to jr. high school and high school students, and adults. Now it's your turn to try to figure who the killer is. Go read "All That Remains."

Summary: Guilty pleasure
Review: Not unlike listening to my CD compilation of 70's Disco Hits, reading Kay Scarpetta is one of my guilty pleasures. Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta novels feature a flawless, emotionless main character, lesbian undertones (sometimes not too subtle), and rushed, contrived endings. Still, at day's end, I cannot wait to pick up where I left off.

Summary: Exciting....with a twist.......
Review: Another great novel by Patricia Cornwell. This one not only incorporates the grizzly murder scenes and the relationsihps between, Scarpetta, the FBI and the Police, but also adds a political twist............well worth reading.

Summary: It kept me guessing and on my toes the whole time!!
Review: I love her books, and this one was spectacular!! It arises emotions about the characters in the book and their relationships such as Dr. Kay Scarpetta and Benton Wesley. It has to do with death of a close one, and it caused me to think about my own significant loved one. There was one line towards the end of the book that said how she wished she could go back and take back every mean word she had spoken to this person. It just causes someone to stop and think about it in real life. It was truly a phenomenal book!! Most of her books are very good. I cannot say all because I have not read all of them.

Summary: Great but missing a climax
Review: I am big fan of Patricia Cornwell and especially the way she manage to create such splendid and full of life characters like Kay and Marino in such an aride context: mounstruous death, medical couldness and fast pace. This partcularl book is great, as usual, but in my opinion the climax was not really there. I was a little disapointed at the end.

Summary: A delightful read with lots of intellectual criminal angles
Review: This was my second Scarpeta novel and it was quite intriguing and fun compared to "Unnatural Causes". I am so glad that I tried a second Cornwell. The case is comlex and very, very interesting with Scarpetta's character much more approacheble and likeable this time around. A great, great book and I hope Cornwell returns to this level of excitement again.

Summary: Thrilling until you get to the end.
Review: This is the first book I read from this author. The book was really good and suspenceful until the end. I was really disappointed in the ending, which surprises me. The other books I have read I really liked.

Summary: Great Book
Review: Great book once you get into it. it's the first of a long line of books about the character you meet in this book, each one keeps getting better and better. Point of Origin was the last instalment of this mini-series. It's all good. have fun reading it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Suspenseful and Quick-Paced
Review: As all of the Kay Scarpetta books go, I really liked this one. Fast paced, suspenseful, interesting on many levels, all my favorite characters. A definite read for Kay Scarpetta fans.
