Review: My seven year old daughter and I have read all of Ramona's adventures together. She's old enough to read them independently now but we still prefer to read them out loud. We had to stop reading this latest one several times because we were laughing so hard. The attic scene and the babysitting scene are a riot!

Review: Ramona's back! She's got a BIG older sister, a new baby,and even better...a new best friend!While she's trying to avoid Yard Ape, and Susan,envying Beezus, and growling at her school picture,she's playing with her friends baby-sitting Roberta, or just sitting around smiling!Ramona's World is exciting, funny,happy, and even better than before!

Summary: Worth the Wait
Review: When I heard that Beverly Cleary was writing another book, I was so excited! I read all of the Ramona books in grade school. Ramona's World was great! This well written, humorous book was worth the wait! I only wish Cleary would keep writing!

Summary: Good, funny, full of new incidents
Review: I thought this book was great. Compared to Ramona the Brave, or Ramona Quimby, Age 8, it's one of the best Ramona books of all time, the first new one after 15 years. I loved it! I hope readers will take advice from this review, because anyone who says it's not nearly as good as the others didn't really give it a chance! It's really all the troubles of a third-grade, nine-year-old girl, except regular ones don't fall through their best friend's dining room ceiling! And there's a brand new addition to the Quimby family, little Roberta Quimby.

Summary: At long last! Another great Ramona book!
Review: I had long been waiting for the appearance of another Ramona book and had practically accepted that it would never come. Ramona's world is pretty terrific - it had much humor but somehow I could not really feel for Ramona as in the previous books. It really lacked that empathy factor that is so evident in the other Ramona books! But it is still enjoyable, and a worthwhile read, especially for longtime fans.

Summary: Horribly disappointed, nowhere near as good as others
Review: This may sound blasphemous, but my 8-1/2 y.o. daughter and I both agreed -- this Ramona book is nowhere as good as the previous ones. I've read it 3 times now to try to pinpoint what's lacking, and I guess I can sum it up as depth. Unlike the earlier Ramona books, this one seems simply to relate its often-unrelated vignettes from Ramona's life with few of the glimpses into Ramona's mind that made the earlier books so engrossing. There's no binding thread to the chapters, such as Ramona's father's unemployment. There's no pleasure in watching Ramona grow and mature as she meets the obstacles in her life, just simple narrations of a few incidents.

Review: Beverly Clearly's new book Ramona's World was an okay book. Ramona gets a new friend, and the book tells about her humorous adventures with this friend. I think grade school through middle school readers would like this book.

Review: I thought this book was awesome! Cleary really put humor into it! It was fuuny and thrilling. It really was cool. I hope Mrs. Cleary doesn't stop writing the Ramona books. Also, Daisy and Roberta the new charecters made the book better then the rest! Not that all Ramona books stink! RAMONA RULES!

Review: I had been reading Ramona books when I was young.I have all ofthem and really love them.Now I've grown up but when I saw thisbook,Ramona's world,I just bought it and don't care that it's kids'book.After reading it,it don't diaappionted me.I'm sure that one who read the former Ramona don't wanna miss this book.
