Rating: Summary: A true disapointment Review: I have read Perfect and Paradise and they are fantastic books, but this one was a real disapointment. The story was lacking and when finaly there was some suspens the story was rushed so fast to the end that you were left wondering what happened. I am still a great fun of Judith McNaught but I will defenitely think twice about buying more of her historical romance.
Rating: Summary: Dissapointed Review: This book was a dissapointment after reading all the great reviews for it I was expecting a really good read. But it turned out that the characters did not have hardly any chemisrty between them at all. The most interesting part was hearing about the characters from Sheridan's past. This is my first Judith Mcnaught book and I will probably give her another try and read another of her books. Until You, has it moments when it is good, but i wouldn't recommend reading it unless your very bored and there's no other books around
Rating: Summary: Spellbound Review: I am a fan of Judith Mc Naught. I just picked this book up to read by the pool for the summer. I ended up reading it in my backyard in 1 day because I could not put it down. I was drawn to the chemistry between all the characters. I found myself upset with Stephen at times, routing for Sheriden all the time, cursing Du Ville for his role, cheering, laughing and crying. This is what a good book is supposed to do! You will not be disappointed!
Rating: Summary: the very best Review: "Until You" was the first book by Ms. McNaught that I read. I was utterly spellbound from start to finish, and actually did not get up until I had finished. Miss Sheridan Bromleigh is a good heroine, and you certainly appreciate her feelings. She is not why the book is so compelling, or at least not the main reason. Lord Stephen Westmoreland, the Earl of Langford, is an extremely compelling hero. He is breathtaking, and a very good reason to read this book. Combined with good narrative, an able heroine, and witty dialouge as well as true romance, Lord Westmoreland makes "Until You" one of the best romance novels I have ever read, if not the absolute best. I highly recommend this book, even if you have not read any other McNaught books, because although it is a "follow up" (Stephen appears in his brother's story, "Whitney, my Love"), "Until You" is by far the best novel Ms. McNaught has written, and I think I would have been put off of her had I read "Whitney, my Love" first. One of the most well written aspects of the novel, is the tension that exists between the characters. It is amazing, and it truly draws you into the story. You feel what the charactes feel, and it differentiates this from a regular romance novel. Read this book. You will surely be glad you did.
Rating: Summary: Very nice..... Review: I've just finished reading this book (my first Judith McNaught book), and I must say that it was very nice. It was funny, romantic, and would definately make you cry. It was incredibly romantic and emotional when Stephen admitted his love for Sherry. This book it a keeper.
Rating: Summary: Not the best Review: I thought that this book, while good, didn't measure up to McNaught's other novels. Usually I can read one of her books in one sitting but this one seemed to take so long to take off. Once in the middle it was impossible to fall in love with the charaters. So while this was good, it wasn't the best.
Rating: Summary: Ah..Romance Review: I love it.... It is soooo nice an romantic...Not too heavy, easy to read and not boring
Rating: Summary: One of the best books from Judith McNaught Review: I read all of Ms. McNaught's books and this book is my favorite. The story was so poignant and touching. In this book, you can really see the love that really developed between Stephen and Sheridan. Even though there were obstacles along the way, and the readers may get angry with Stephen's actions, the story ended so well in that special way only Judith McNaught can do. I haven't read any new Romance novels for a few years already but I re-read this novel and Ms. McNaught's other books over and over again.
Rating: Summary: It Was Okay Review: I have read a few stories by Judith McNaught and have come to the conclusion that they all have the same plot elements wrapped in a slightly different package. A rich, cold-blooded hero; a book-smart, guileless, sickening sweet heroine; and a BIG MISUNDERSTANDING. The big misunderstanding is usually a mistake on the hero's part, and he treats the heroine like dirt until he realizes he was wrong and then he tries to get the heroine back. In a nutshell, this is pretty much all there is to Until You. Except in previous stories there is more interaction between the hero and heroine to make the reader believe that something special exists between them. Not so in Until You. The only thing I saw between them was physical attraction. It makes for an okay story, but something I had to skim through a lot and not something worth remembering.
Rating: Summary: You'll laugh and cry, but it still needs more Review: Great story, wonderful characters, but I wish that we would have seen Stephen suffer more when they were apart. I don't totally buy into his "Until You."
