Summary: Abhorsen trilogy
Review: Ive now read the entire three book Abhorsen trilogy, and I have to say that it is one of the most clear well thought out alternate worlds i have ever come into contact with. in these books, you get enough information on the world surrounding the characters that you feel like you can step inside with them... i can't reccomend this book highly enough!

Summary: A little hard to get into, but ultimately very enjoyable.
Review: The narrator Tim Curry was awesome! His reading of this story was spectacular. I tried to read the book, but found it very hard to get into. So I bought the audiobook. What a treasure. We ended up listening to it twice on a long trip. I can't wait to hear Lirael narrated also by Tim Curry.

Summary: My Favorite Book in the Series
Review: I have read all the books in the series and this is definately the best. Sabriel lives in a world where the dead dont stay dead and one person (her father) keeps them dead. Her Dad gets stuck in death and she has to go in to the Old Kingdom to rescue him. The series is amazing and should be seen by anybody who is a fan of fantasey.

Summary: Sabriel
Review: If you read this book, be prepared to read the other two sequels. Though I wouldn't encourage people who have read Shade's Children and loved it to read Sabriel. Sabriel is very very diffrent, but is a lot better in my opinion than Shade's Children. I doubt you will have regrets if you get this book.

Summary: so good!
Review: This book was so great. It had every element you'd want to find in a story. tragedy, comedy, romance, adventure, magic and sarcasim. Sabriel finds out that her father has been trapped in the world of the dead and sets out to find him meeting a "cat" with an adittude, a boy her age who just happens to be a prince with a very interesting story and past, and several handfulls of dead things. read the book, it's good, trust me.

Summary: MY LEAST FAV. IN THE TRILOGY BUT STILL A GREAT BOOK
Review: I READ LIRAEL BEFORE SABRIEL(I KNOW I CHEATED) AND WAS EXPECTING A LITTLE BIT OF A BETTER BOOK... BUT THIS ONE IS STILL A WONDERFULL ADDITION TO THE SERIS. SABRIEL IS A YOUNG WOMAN GOING TO THE OLD KINGDOM FOR THE FIRST TIME TO TRY AND FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER FATHER WHO IS TRAPPED IN DEATH. SHE MATURES BELIVABLEY THROUGHOUT THE BOOK, BATTLING THE DEAD AND SLOWLY FOLLOWING IN LOVE. A GOOD BOOK COMPLETE WITH SACRIFICE,SADDNESS,DANGER,LOVE,A LITTLE HUMOR, THE DEAD, AND SOME UNFORGETTABLE CHARECTERS.
NOTE:IT IS POSSIBLE TO READ THE SECOND AND THIRD BOOK WITHOUT THIS ONE AND NOT GET CONFUSED

Summary: One of the Best Fantasy's of All time
Review: I saw this book in a Library, and knew nothing about it, but that it looked interesting. I had no idea that I would be swept away on an amazing journey. Sabriel has spent most of her life on the other side of the wall in Ancestierre. When an unexpected summons comes and calls her too her destiny as Abhorsen in the Old Kingdom, she must make many decisions about life, death, love and fate. An amazing read that will keep people of all ages intrigued and wound together in its spell.

Summary: Notes on the best book in the world
Review: The book starts at Sabriel's colledge. Her father is dead, or traped in death, and three guesses who has to save him. Only, things get more complecated when Sabriel saves Touchstone, a man who was traped as a figure head. It is then that Sabriel finds out that the whole world, both Anclestire and the Old Kingdom, will be destroyed if the great dead,Kerrigor, gets out of death. A book full of humor, action and romance,it is truely the best tale of dark secrets, dangerous magic and deep love!

Summary: SABRIEL--GARTH NIX
Review: Sabriel is the daughter of the Abhorsen, a necromancer that defeats and kills evil spirits of the dead. But when she doesn't receive a message from her father, she knows something is wrong. She takes up his magickal bells and goes to defeat the evil spirit Kerrigor that is trapping her father in the Rivers of Death.

A wonderful change of pace in the SciFi/Fantasy kids' world! Recommended to anyone who is tired of the usual witch/wizard plot! If you enjoyed this, read it's sequels, "Lirael" and "Abhorsen".
