Summary: The best book.
Review: This was the best book. It kind of warps your mind and after a little bit of reading it you begin to belive that you are Sabriel, as she goes from her protected suroundings at the girls school to her fathers house then off to find her dad. I thought it was cool when she journeyed into death. Also I liked how the Abhorsen was a "unnecromancer" insted of a necromancer. Which means that the made things that got brought back to life dead. I realy like the symbols parts too. All in all a good read. I would recomend it highly.

Summary: The book has a power to warp you into the Old Kingdom
Review: Sabrial is a very great book full of potential. The tale is about a young girl named Sabriel who knows almost nothing of magic, except a few charter spells. None the less Sabriel must go into the Old Kingdom (a place that is like the middle ages) and find her father. Sabriel must find her place as an Abhorsen. An Abhorsen is the greatest of all necromancers. This an incredible tale of the interesting heroine who meets an interesting boy. The story will grab you by you heart and take you for a wild ride across the Old Kingdom. I who has read books that you would swear were exactly the same as this one have never encountered anything so brilliant. It is by far the best book I have EVER read. I loved this book more then any other book because it was well writin so well writin that you could swear you can smell the Dead or hear the cries and shoutes from a war going on just outside a door.

Summary: Sabriel is a definite page turner

I PROMISE YOU IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

Review: Sabriel is a book that creates a unforgetable tale of one young girls uncertine destiny.Sabriel introduces a world that is truly so detailed and complex as our own world. As the story begins you meet a girl on the brink of womenhood that is still hesitant wether her future should concist of a normal carefree future of her piers or that of a life in the "Old Kingdom" ,a place that is of question and meant to be dreamed about rather than a place for a young lady that of herself,a very dangerous and mysterious place...Then without her opinion is forced to undergo the destiny that of her father , a powerful charter magic mage, who is suddenly taken in a state of danger. Sabriel soon finds herself battleing the evil of the old kingdom in a valiant struggle to rescue her father and discover andcv accept her destiny.Sabriel is a story of deep magic, heroic romance and destiny well worthy of the 491 pages. A definate winner.

Summary: A great book! Try it!
Review: This book is great for people who like fantasy and despise reading or the opposite. If you're a Tamora Pierce, Philip Pullman, Robin McKinley, and Brian Jacques fan (like me!) this is a MUST read. Try it out even if you're not, you won't have regrets. I heard somewhere that this is Nix's first fantasy novel, and if it is, he has a good start! I can't wait for the second book in the series to come out!!!!

Summary: Thrilling
Review: This book has everything you could want. Nix has wrote so well, I am anxious for a the next in the series. Sabriel is not just a book for young adults, this book could be read by almost anyone and understood. I recomend this book, except that there were parts that are not for young (between the ages of eight and ten) readers.
