Review: Princess in the Spotlight
Meg Cabot

Would you think it would be great to be a princess? How about the princess of Genovia a small country located between Italy and France (note: Genovia is a fictional country, made up by the author). Let's get back to reality. You live in Manhattan, New York, and one of the things you worry about is your self-image. Being tall and having your frizzy hair which makes your head looks like a yield sign. You have a crush on your best friend's brother. Wait, did I tell you that your mom and your ALGEBEA teacher are going out (your also flunking algebra too). Then, you find out your mom is ______ with your algebra teacher. That is how Mia Thermopolis feels.
If you are Mia, how are you a royal of Genovia? Your mother and father were going out in college and had you. You're still considered heir to the throne. Your grandmother (royal) is making an arrangement for you to be interviewed on television, in which will be aired all over the country. You've also been receiving secret admirer email messages. The "secret admirer" person seems to be madly in love with you. You have to go to algebra review lessons after school (remember, your flunking this subject), and right after that you have to go to princess lessons at the Plaza Hotel, taught by your grandmother. Why exactly do you have to go to princess lessons? During Christmas break you must meet the people of Genovia (the people whom you will rule one day.) Every step of the way you write in your diary to get out your thoughts. Mia do you think you can handle this princess business?
Princess in the Spotlight by Meg Cabot is a wonderfully written book. Mostly girls will enjoy this book. I thought the author could elaborate the book, but I 100% recommend you read the first volume in the series, The Princess Diaries. Mia may be strange, but you might enjoy her personality.

Summary: Love Life on a Roller Coaster
Review: Why does everything ever mentioned in history books happen to Mia? Her father tells her, after having a repoductive organ removed, that she is heir to the throne of European Country Genovia. "Heck, Genovia, That puny country," thinks Mia, "Who's ever heard of Genovia?" Well onto that her Mother is pregnant with her Algerbra teacher's baby. They elope before Grandmere can arrange a headline news wedding with butlers and Martha Stewarts. Ontop of all this, her secret admirer (turning out to be her lab partner Kenny) calls her the Josiest girl he's ever met. She hopes and hopes that it is her heart's beloved- Micheal, aka Best Friend's Older, intruding brother. What a ride for poor Mia, do you think she wants to pay fare for another ride on the roller coaster of Life?

Review: this book was realy good but i still like the firts one better i read this one the day after i read the first one it is great.
in this book it is alrready out that mia is the princess of the very small country genovia. in the beginning of this book her mother announces that she is ??????? i cant tell you sorry. but she goes on a talk show and tells the world what her mother has told her and feels terrible because her mom did not want anyone to know yet especially her father(they r divorced)and her grandma. so after that her grandma is trying tro organize this thing for her mom that her mom doesnt even want to happen. so in the middle of all this mia starts to get letters from a secret admirerer, who says he is in love with her, she is hoping it is micheal the guy she has liked since the end of the last book. but in the end she finds out that it is not but is really ????? the thing her grandma is planning never happens and it all turns out o.k. except that she is stuck with this guy she totally does not have the hots for.

Review: Ah! A continuing plot of Mia's life. If you have know idea what I'm talking about I'll tell you why: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER! And why to BUY IT! These books are about a teenage girl who finds out she is a princess and writes everything down in her notebook/diary. My point is that this book has everything a great book ought to have! Summary: At LEAST as good as the FIRST if not BETTER!!!
Review: I WONT tell you about the plot, allready been done!!! But I will tell you that this is a Reeeeally good book, once again not for people under the age of 14 or 15yrs, because of some of the content. But Meg Cabot has this way of writing in making all these situations hilarious and mixing JUST the *right* amount of Fantasy&Reality together and one hilarious bowl of life!!!:P

I COULD NOT put this book down(IT WAS A STRUGGLE WHEN I HAD TO!!!)And that's a true rarity in books. Its not like a classic or anything, but its still really good!!! Prolly something teens will be able to *enjoy* for years to come!!! Ahahaha

And I suggest you read the first book then read this and not see the movie then read this book because the premise and story of both book and movie are TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!

Well *enjoy* and don't take it to seriously!!!

God Bless ~Amy

PS: SHE'D BETTER GET WITH MICHAEL SOON!!!
