Rating: Summary: Sequel As Good as Prequel! Review: I loved "Princess in the Spotlight" as much as "The Princess Diaries". I have yet to read the rest of the series. Mia continues her troubles in life as she deals with her crush on Michael, the brother of Lilly, her bf, and of course...princess lessons. But the biggest impact on Mia in this book is finding out her mother is pregnant with Mia's algebra teacher, Mr. Gianini. Then she is going to be on 24/7 with Beverly Bellerieve and completely messes up. What will be next for Mia? Read and find out!
Rating: Summary: The Funniest Book You'll Ever Read (next to David Letterman) Review: In the second book of The Princess Diaries 'thingy', it's even better, with more laughs, more events, and you won't feel cheated when you buy this book. It starts out finding the whole thing about her mom having a baby. Then the sleepover at Lily's (she is so funny...), where they almost kill someone. Later, she recieves anonymous emails about a secret admirer, and finds out who it is at the end. Yup yup. This is my favorite book of the series. Get it at the library, or buy it...it's a must read.
Rating: Summary: This is Cute! Review: If you want a fun story, pick up Princess in the Spotlight. Picking up right where we left off, Mia is debating on whether or not Michael loves her (we all know he does), how to murder her grandmère (just kidding!), and how on earth to do Algebra. Comic relief for a day when you just want to chill.
Rating: Summary: A review for The Princess in the Spotlight. Review: The Princess in the Spotlight, by Meg Cabot, was very good. It is the second book in the Princess Diaries series, and i liked it a lot. This book had some very similar problems that most teenage girls face when they are gowing up. I could relate very well to the book. This book is very good and fun to read and I recomend that you read it soon.
Rating: Summary: The sequal is as good as the original! Review: Meg Cabot continues the adventures of Mia, first seen in The Princess Diaries, in this fabulous sequal. Mia's troubles have only increased since we first saw her-- her mom makes a big annoucement that will change her life, her princess lessons continue, complete with a press conferance, and,to top it all off, she's recieving love letters! By the end of the book, Meg Cabot manages to resolve all of these issues, while still leaving the reader hungry for more.
Rating: Summary: Princess in the Spotlight Review: Princess in the Spotlight takes up where The Princess Diaries left off, with fourteen-year-old Mia having found out she is a princess, and having to deal with all the problems that come with that responsibility. Now, Grandmere (Mia's very scary grandmother who has eyeliner permanently tatooed on her eyelids and who shaves off her eyebrows every morning only to paint them back on) has decided to continue with Mia's princess lessons instead of giving her the break that she deserves. And although Mia is no longer failing Algebra, she is still getting a D, so she has to continue with tutoring. And now, to add to the many problems that she has already has (she is still tall with no breasts and huge feet), her mother has to go and get pregnant with her Algebra teacher, who she then gets engaged to. So Mia's Algebra teacher is now not only her mother's boyfriend and the father of her unborn sibling, but also her future stepfather! And Grandmere has organized an interview for Mia with Beverly Bellerieve, which will be broadcast nationwide. And now Mia is getting anonymous love letters from someone. She really hopes that it's Michael, her best friend Lilly's older brother, but could it really be him? Or is it just that weird guy who flips out every time there is corn in the chili that the cafeteria serves for lunch? This is a really good book that I think most people can relate to. It is easy to read and also fun to read and I would reccomend it to anyone, but especially teenage girls.
Rating: Summary: Another great Princess Diaries book! Review: I didn't know how well a second princess diaries book would be, but it turned out it was just as good as the first! I read this and I couldn't put it down! wherever I went that book came with me! I didn't want it to end it was so good and I knew I just had to read the 3rd book!
Rating: Summary: Princess Diaries II Review: This book will really confuse you if you have seen the movie "The Princess Diaries" and have not read the first book. The second book starts where Mia has just found a month ago that she is a princess and she is living in NYC, where as the movie ends with her flying off to Genovia. Personally it was not one of my favorite books but if you like books about teens who have nothing but trouble in their lives (which is what Mia has) then it would be great for you to read. Also this book is 257 pages long for only 10-12 days of listening to Mia's hardships. If you are lookimg for a book with meaning I don't think you should read this.
Rating: Summary: Princess in the Spotlight Review: Princess in the Spotlight is a very good book that I would reccomend to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A book For The Princess In You Review: This book is the Sequal to the first Princess Diaries novel. Mia THermopoplis (16) has just been pronounced Princess Of Genovia, and she is currently the heir to her Grandmothers thrown. Having just come from living in San Francisco, CA, she has no idea on how she should behave, act, or prepare for her one-day rein. In this novel, her grandmother, along with other etiquette teachers try to help Mia become who she is destined to be, a woman, a royal, and ontop of it all, a Princess. I enjoyed the book, and was intriqued by its way of writing - a journal. However, I felt that the book could have been "spiced up" and , although it had a good plot, was written a bit dull.
