Rating: Summary: A trilogy to be read by anyone that enjoys good literature. Review: Nora Roberts has an amazing talent in that she can make
her characters come alive. So much so that if one
of them were to walk into your home you would most
certainly recognize them. Your only regret will probably
be that they are only fictional and that you will
not be able to meet them.
This series of books are by far the best that she has written so far and even those who would never be
caught reading a romance novel will find them most enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: NOT boring! Review: One of Nora Robert's best books ever (in my opinion) and some of her best characters. The story is the second in the 'Born In...' trilogy and features Brianna Concannon, a loyal and charming innkeep (did anyone else's mouth water at all that food?!) and Grayson Thane, a tormented but charasmatic writer.
Things come to a head when Grayson opts to stay at Brianna's cottage for some R&R, as well as to write his newest novel. The buildup of their relationship,as well as it's stumbles, is heartwarming and at the same time realistic. I loved the setting, I loved the story, and I loved the characters. Definately one of Robert's best works.
Rating: Summary: Best in the Series!! Review: Out of the three Born In... books this was my favorite. Bri and Grayson are the perfect pair. Both of them need something that they can only find in one another...love. It will make you want to read it again and again, I did=) Enjoy. If you like this one pick up the other two in the series, Born in Fire and Born in Shame, both great reads too!
Rating: Summary: Some books leave impressions Review: Some books leave impressions that stay with you for a long time. Nora Roberts "Born in Ice" is one of these books. This book is the second part of a trilogy that takes place in Ireland, the story of three sisters in the order of their birth. Brianna is the second born. This story of her gentle strength and courage brought me laughter and tears and a hope of someday meeting a man like Gray. Don't miss this one. It is great fun and will leave you with the strongest desire to hop on a plane for Ireland.
Rating: Summary: Heartwarming! Review: The "Born In" trilogy is one that captures the ecsense of Ireland unlike any book I have yet to read. Never has a book left me with such a yearning to visit the place of it's setting. Never have I felt the warmth and caring of a Irish land and its inhabitants. "Born in Ice" is written with such wonderful detail and thought, that you can picture the rolling green hills, you can fill the damp mist that covers the land like a blanket. You can imagine hospitality and hearty homecooked meals. It takes you on a journey to a land and a people that you will never forget.
Rating: Summary: IRELAND ICE MAIDEN Review: THE SECOND SISTER IN THE SERIES. THIS ONE WAS JUST AS WONDERFUL AS THE FIRST. SHE RUNS A BOARD AND BREAKFAST. HE IS A WRITER COME AS A GUEST FOR PIECE AND QUIET TO WRITE HIS NEXT BOOK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE
Rating: Summary: Very entertaining! Review: There were some silly parts, but it was a lovely and enjoyable read. I fell madly in love with Grayson Thane, which is why I'm going to order the next in the series. This was much better than "Born in Fire".
Rating: Summary: Loved It! Review: This being the second in her trilogy was just as good as "Born in Fire". I loved the characters and the story. If you love Nora Roberts books, you'll love this!
Rating: Summary: This book was excellent! Review: This book was so good! I read it in only a couple of days. I had a hard time putting this one down. You will absolutely fall in love with the characters. A very touching romance. I'm ordering more of Nora Roberts books to read as this was my first one and I'm hooked.
Rating: Summary: My favorite in the "Born In.." series Review: This is my favorite book in Nora's "Born In.." series. I really loved the character of Brianna, because my dream is to run a bed & breakfast too. I also liked her romance with Grayson. Truthfully, I still love Nora's first popular books the most, such as Sacred Sins and Carnal Innocence, but she is still a great writer and I highly recommend the entire "Born In.." series, especially "Born In Ice". Nora is one of my favorite authors. Enjoy!
