Summary: A non-stop action book that will keep you reading
Review: For those among you who like fast planes with high explosives kicking soviet butt this would be a good book for you. I have only read this first book in the series but im going to have to read a few more.

Summary: I'm Being Honest . . .
Review: I don't know why I read this book in the first place. It was in the free bin or something at the library. Anyway, I'll give Mack Maloney credit on one point. He has lots of action in his book. However, there was so much action that it actually drowned the plot. First the character gets dragged out of the hills, and next thing I know, he's nuking St. Louis--for no apparent reason. So basically what I'm saying is this: if you like LOTS of action--almost strictly action--then you'll like this book. But IF YOU WANT A STORYLINE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS BOOK DOESN'T HAVE IT.

Summary: My favorite adventure series of all...
Review: I read this book shortly after it was first released (I was in high school). If I could take one adventure series with me to a desert island--this would be it. I love aviation, I love technothrillers, and love good sets of characters. This book delivers all of the above. Set in the aftermath of WWIII, the character Hawk Hunter is the hero whom the series centers--and he is a patriotic, adventurous, and and very likeable character who takes on the impossible. The story is very fast moving and will keep you wanting more. The surrounding characters are as equally interesting as the plot itself. I hope this series has a very long life. Mack Maloney is a guru of adventure!

Summary: I couldn't put the series down
Review: I started reading the series well over five years ago, and I couldn't put the series down. I own all but one of the old school ones, and I probably have read most of them at least five times apiece, and there are some ive probably read over ten times.

I feel I should warn everyone before they even start reading that this series gets wierd, real fast, and once you read the first one you will probably read many more, but at least it is consistent from book to book, with a few exceptions.

Summary: Wingman
Review: I'd like to start by saying this is the best book I have ever read. It is filled with almost non stop action, has all sorts of different planes (and I love planes),it has great suspense making you feel as if you were really there, and it also leaves off so that there are more books that can be read after it. I have read a lot of books but none compare to this one. I also read slow but that did not stop me from reading it three times. I suggest that if you only ever read one book that this book be the one.

Summary: Take to the evil sky with a new breed of American heros.
Review: Looking for fast paced adventure? Looking to visit new and just recently un-exotic places. Then look no further than the Wingman series starting with book 1. Maloney explores a chilling scenario of a WWIII that leaves America in a state of confussion and chaos. A desperate group of brave new pioneering Americans (lead by Hawk Hunter) take to the sky in a desperate effort to re-establish what was once a proud and prosperous United States. Standing in the way is the ever growing evil Mid-Ak empire. A ruthless organization of leftover thugs and criminals bent on starting a new age of terror and deceipt. This is a must read book for all adventure buffs.

Summary: a must-have for aviation buffs
Review: Reader beware! If you like aircraft and fast-paced action, you won't be happy until you have all fifteen books of Mack Maloney's wingman collection in your possession! Set in a post-WW III scenario where there is still enough civilization left over to maintain ,and on a limited basis ,produce mechanical hardware, Mack Malone gives a thrilling account of a patriotic pilot whose exploits take him flying around the globe and into space to keep the world from being overrun completely by tyrrany. This first book will get you hooked and will make you scour the used book stores for his other books while you wait patiently for the new ones you have ordered. The books become timeless and you don't mind having more than one copy of any one book because you always enjoy re-reading them time and again.

Summary: A non-stop action book that will keep you reading
Review: This book, one that I found among seven others are an amazing find. This book is the thrilling beginning to a series that gets you entrapped. In an adventure that takes you from Otis airbase after world war three to the Aerodrome. This book represents a legacy in which you will want to read again and again

Summary: The greatest series I've read
Review: When I first read this book and those that followed, I could not put them down. I've only read the first 9 books (didn't know there was more until I went to "Amazon") and have read them at least 3 times(they are pretty damaged now). The science fiction buff would love these series Mr. Maloney paints a dreaded picture of America after being struck by a nuclear arsenal and how a hero rose out of the ashes to bring back the strength that a proud America once had and bring order back to a world full of chaos and terror. I could not tell you which book is my favorite. I plan to slowly replace my collection and get the ones I haven't read yet. Maybe, Mr. Maloney will release them all as a gift pack (Christmas time?). Mack are you reading these???
