Review: I had a very fun time reading this book. I really think it's funny and it is also has a good mystery. My favorite part was when Gypsy cut her hair off and everyone wanted the same style called a: DIXIE PIXIE. I just think this is one of the best books I've ever read !! I sure think you'll like this book !!!

Summary: Not Worth Anyone's Time
Review: The story started off O.K, so I continued reading it. Gypsy is a character who I didn't particularly like, and same with Woodrow. I read on, expecting to read the thing that I wanted to find out so badly about the book, but I didn't find it. Instead, I found that the author didn't know how to pull her story to a good conclusion. That is why this book was not worth anyone's time.

Review: Since this book was taking place in Virginia around the 1950s I thought it would be stupid but it was assinged in my class I didn't like all the country talking but the end was fantastic!

Review: The plot of the book "Belle Prater's Boy" by Ruth White is very interesting becuase it has a hint of mystery in the beging put also self respect.Woddrow Belle Prater's son has to go live with his grandparents who.Take's him shooping that night he has dreams of his mother calling him.The next day he tell's his cousin Gypsy about them.Gypsy has long braided pretty hair that she want's to cut becaus every night she as to wash her hair and comb it a hundred times a day. this story takes place in Coal Station, Virgina.I think this book deserves five stars it was one of the best I've ever read and it had everything I loved in a book .Actoin,Mystery,and suspense> At fist I thought it was chessy but you all Know the old saying "You Can't judge a book by the cover' it worked with this book.I highly recomend this book to ages 12 and up.

Review: Belle Prater's boy is a very good book that describes two twelve year old children who both have hidden sadness. It is a very detailed book. I found myself wanting the book to go on and on and on.

It was about a girl named Gypsy,whose cousin Woodrow comes to live next with her grandparents after the disapperance of his mother.Gypsy and Woodrow discover they are good company to eachother and discover eachother's deep dark secrets.Gypsy,the town beauty, feels her beauty hide her real self,Woodrow thinks he knows why his mom disappeared. This was a gr-r-r-r-r-reat book!

Review: Belle Prater's Boy is about a boy who lost his mom and went to live with other relatives. The story is full of experiences that we all face every day- teasing, sadness, loss, happiness, anger and friendship. The book was special because of the way Woodrow was able to make up stories to entertain people or teach a lesson. It helped him to make new friends and not worry about his problems as much. He taught Gypsy how to joke about herself. The author was trying to tell the readers that it doesn't matter how you look, it matters what's inside of you. This book is not a true story but it could really happen. This book kept my attention and it will probably keep yours, especially if you like strange mystery and adventure stories.

Review: I liked this book but it started out slow and then got better in the middle but it was still never that exsiting and the end was just a complete mess of a book. I think that ruend the hole book. I say that book should not of won a award it is just not worth it.
