Review: If you like good books Belle Prater's Boy is a book for you. The book is about a boy mom who goes missing. One morning Woodrow wakes up and his mom is gone and no one knows where she has gone. Then his dad sent him to live with his grandma and grandpa after she went missing. Then after he comes Woodrow and Gypsy become good friends and they do everything tougher. They have a lot of fun times tougher. One of the best times is they have tougher is when they have the Garden party and Woodrow says he had put rum in the drinks but he didn't. That is why Belle Prater's boy is a good book.

Review: Ruth White rote Belle Rater's Boy. She has rote a lot of book but this one grab my tension the most. It was about a boy how's mom disappear and does not now were she went he thinks that she goes to a deferent world. Woodrow is another character in the story and he is cross eyed and his dad drank a lot. Gypsy was also another character and she could play the piano. That is a little bit of the story I don't want to give the story away.

Review: The book "Belle Prater's Boy" is a good book for adult's and kids too . There is alot of funny thing and some sad . There are also favorite parts in the story . I like when Woodrow at the Garden Party he was handing out drinks and when he got to Ms. Cooper he said " I put rum in your drink" after a couple of minutes she started acting crazy. It was funny because she jumped in the pond . There are a lot of sad things to like when Gypsy father kills himself. Belle Prater's Boy is a good book and everyone should read it.

Review: I really like this story, I was always guessing at what would be at the end. The charters had the same personalities as in other stories I've read about. It has taught me a lot about life. The story was a spooky mystery. The end surprised me because I thought Woodrow's mother would come back. The stories Woodrow told were old folk tales but they were scary.

Review: Woodrow's mom went to the bathroom. when he got up he went to check up on her and Woodrow went to look for her and there was no sign of her what so ever. And for mouths he asked people if they have seen her and they all say no. then he put ad's in the newspaper but still no sign of her . Woodrow was 4 when his dad died , so all the family Woodrow has is his gandparents.

Review: Ruth White is a great author in the book Belle Prater's Boy! She really shows her imagination in this book. She also shows her fantastic talents and her ability to write. In the book one of the main characters is Woodrow Prater, he is a boy that his mother that has disappeared off the face of the earth. Woodrow also has a cousin and her name is Gypsy, she is also a main character to. Gypsy was very small when her dad died. One of the only things Gypsy's dad asked of her mother was for Gypsy not to cut her hair. Gypsy had a special talent that was playing the piano. Woodrow dad drank a lot so he moved in with his grandparents' house. They bought him a haircut and comic books and many other things. His grandparents is very special to him and everybody else.

Review: Ruth White is a wonderful author! In the book BELLE PRATER'S BOY, she defiantly shows her fantastic talents. The book is mainly about a boy named Woodrow Prater whose mother disappeared into thin air, or at least that is what they think because there wasn't any evidence of any thing else that could possibly have happened. Woodrow's dad could not take care of him alone so Woodrow had to go live with his grandparents. His cousin Gypsy lives beside his grandparents' house, Gypsy was sort of in the same situation because her father died when she was a very small child. You defiantly need to read and how all the situations conclude! This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you begging for more!

Review: Belle Prater's Boy is a great book.I think this book is my favorite book I've read.The main Character's are Woodrow,Gypsy, and Belle prater another main character is Blind benny.The book is about a woman named Belle disapears and her son woodrow thinks she went were the two world's touch.when Belle disapears her son Woodrow has two go live with his granparents because his dad drinks all the time. woodrow and gypsy become best friends in the book.Blind Benny is blind,He goes up and down the steet singing songs,Because everyone makes fun of him in day light,At night know one can make fun of hime.woodrow make's up lies because he don't wont know one to know where she is.In the story they both had problems,The problems they is woodrow wants his eyes straight and Gypsy wants her hair short.circus I think the best part was when buzz and woodrow where fighting Because Buzz was talking about gypsy dad.Gypsy dad died when she was a girl Gypsy found her dad in a puddle of blood, The reason he killed his self is he got burt in the face saving a little girl.when woodrow was in school everyone likes him. Gypsy likes to tell jokes.Gypsey is the town beauty.At the end Woodrow tells gypsy the truth.

Review: Belle Prater's Boy is the best book EVER!This book is about a women named Belle Prater who vanishes off the face of the earth.Now its up to Woodrow & Gypsy to find out were she is. Woodrow is a 12 year old boy who is desperate to find his mother.He likes to make people laugh while being the nicest boy you will ever meet.Gypsy(Woodrow's cousin also 12 years old) has to face the fact that her father is gone forever out of her life but not out of her heart.So you really need to read this novel.

Review: Belle Prater's Boy is a very mysterious and exciting book to read. The setting of the book is in Coal Station and Crooked Ridge.This book starts out when Belle Prater Disappeares. Since she disappeared Woodrow, her son had to live with his grandparents. Gypsy, his cousin and woodrow become the best of friends.Later in the book Gypsy knows more about what happened to her father. She keeps having nightmares about the ugly thing and if you read this book you will find out what that is. Woodrow and Gypsy met Blind Benny,he was Gypsy fathers friend. He told Gypsy and Woodrow about Gypsy father or Amos Leemaster.My most favorite part of the book is when Gypsy gets her hair cut and everyone wants to have their hair like hers.
I think this is a very good book for children. This book is at mostly ever libary or book store. I think you should read this book or you could even buy it. Our whole class read it and almost all of us liked it. It is one of my favorite books I have ever read. Ruth White the author of this book is going to come and vist our class. I can't wait!
