Summary: KEEPING THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE
Review: Don't Sweat the Small stuff offers simple common sense approaches to dealing with situtions and people--don't expect earth shattering rules/techniques. Learning to let things "roll". I carried the book everywhere i went for two weeks, reading it a few chapters at a time. Since bad habits die hard, it takes a while to put some of it into practice, but i found myself repeatedly telling myself to do just what the title says. Although, I haven't read the other versions such as , "Don't Sweat it a Work/Home" and I figure its just a bite off the orginal to make addtional revenue, but hey i'm not sweating it.

Review: Dr Carlson's Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... is an amazing book. It's written just for me ! After reading the 10 first pages I had found myself on each several times. The text is so simple that everybody must inderstand it. Even me ! This book is the modern way to say that "Nothing but taking care of a garden is necessary and even thet is not necessary". Thank you Dr Carlson .

Summary: A few nice snippets on how to minimize stress at work
Review: Dr. Carlson's book provides some keen insights on how to reduce stress when employeed by a large corporation, or for those shackled to a cubicle for eight hours at a go. While helpful overall, the book is less beneficial to those employeed in the retail sector or other public service areas, where dealing with cranky customers and unmotivated staff seems to be the prevailing problems.

Summary: A book that will change your life
Review: Every piece of advice this book offers is so simple, so obvious, yet so often overlooked. Dr. Carlson brings to light the many things we do to ourselves to make work life difficult, then helps us find a way to change our self-defeating behaviors. It is a priceless source of guidance that will change your attitude about work, as well as life, and before you know it, going to work will be fun again. It's a must-have!

Summary: This book helped me get through tough times at work.
Review: I bought this book during a time I thought the job I like so much was becoming unbearable. The problem were not the job itself but dealing with unprofessional co-workers and supervisors. This book enabled me to not sweat the small stuff and refocus on my career. Thanks for a great book, Richard Carlson.

Summary: Thank you Richard Carlton for your books!
Review: I came across "Richard Carlson's book, "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" in a bookstore and it looked really interesting so I decided to buy it. Richard's book has helped me like you wouldn't believe! I have been going through some tough times recently and I use Richard's books like a Bible everyday. His sayings actually get me through the day. I have almost all of his books now, and I alway's find something in his books about a situation that I am tring to deal with. I seem to relate to everything he says so easily. I recommend his books to everyone. They make you feel good about yourself and help you to deal with life's problems so much easier. I don't know what I would do without them. THANK-YOU RICHARD CARLSON!!!

Summary: An eye opening experience of myself!
Review: I either found a reference to myself or someone I knew in each one of Dr. Carlson's Chapters. Stated differently, I related in experience and to that which Dr. Carlson is conveying to his readers. Needless to say my education by Dr. Carlson is making a much better life for me and my family, not to mention the people that I associate with. I learned of things I needed to change and learned things that I had no control over would work themselves out without any sweating on my part.

Summary: What I wish I learned in college. Excellent advice!!!
Review: I first recieved Don't Sweat the Small Stuff at work a few months ago from my Mom. I put it on the shelf until a few days ago. I was feeling stressed from work and sometimes I say the wrong thing. In college, they do not teach you the most important ideas of the real world. I love the chapter on not commenting too quickly. That will save me!! I have said some stupid, silly, things at meetings and have gotten "talked" to about my use of language, etc. It is tough being wet behind the ears. It is also hard working with people 20 years older with much more experience. Richard's book has helped me understand the "real" world and now I am not so sensitive. I have learned to recognize certain patterns of behavior and therefore avoiding conflicts (at least people are consistent). Thanks Richard, now if only every college grad had learned these important valuable lessons.......
