Summary: This is a classic of Redwall
Review: This is one classic of Redwall, even though that it is the thirteenth. The story is about the legendary badger lord everyone
has been dying to read more about, Lord Brocktree! {Obvious, eh?}
This book contains classy, and fun reading. I think this book has finally a villan, Ungatt Trunn. I don't want to give away anything, but you must read this!

Summary: EULALIAAAAAAA!!!
Review: Eulaliaaaaa! This awesome war cry suits the ferocity, plot, and action of this awesome book. "Lord Brocktree" is actually the first book everyone should read in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. Of course, it's not the first book Mr. Jacques has written, but it's the first book in the chronological series. This is strictly advised for people who like to "have their ducks in a row."
So the book's strengths? Excellent action, amazing details that build the plot and lead to the climax, and cute/hilarious/downright evil/friendly/calm/strategic creatures that make up the world of Redwall. Above all, the book has an EXCELLENT atmosphere/mood of doom, death, friendship, rivalry, and suspense.
The book's weaknesses? The end went a bit quickly and didn't prove to have as good a climax as a reader should have expected after all the plot details before. Indeed, it was almost as if Mr. Jacques was hurrying to finish the book by a certain deadline. Anyway, that's why I gave the book 4 stars; it's the only weakness I could find.
To conclude, "Lord Brocktree" is definitely a book YOU should read today if you're a fan of fantasy and/or you have a fondness for animals. EULALIAAAAA...what are you waiting for?!?
*By the way, I've already submitted a review for this book under a 12-year-old reader. I was forced to do that because I hadn't signed up for an Amazon Book Reviewer yet...sorry for the confusion. ...

Summary: Lord Brocktree is a great book!
Review: I like this book because of the way the author put the plot together. He had two ideas happening at once and ending up coming together at the end for a huge climax. The only thing that was hard to understand was the way some of the characters talk in the book. All characters talked in Old English. Every part in the book is important for the climax. If you skipped a chapter or even a page you will miss something important. You have to read the series to be able to understand where the characters in the book are talking about. Alot of this book is about the past of the two main characters and how they have to find each other to explain why this is happening in the book.

Summary: A Definate Must Have!
Review: I was home sick for 2 days so i started to read Lord Brocktree. I got so hooked that i finished it in just those short 2 days. By far one of Jacques' best writings. A must have for new Jacques fans or older ones who have read all of his masterpieces.

Summary: He makes movies with words.
Review: Lord Brocktree is a wonderful addition to the saga. You have probably seen me in the bookstores, walking complete strangers over to where they keep Mr. Jacques books, telling mothers of Harry Potter fans about a safer series for their young ones, giving english teachers copies of Redwall. I am constantly amazed at the new and exciting adventures. From the first book to this one, I thoroughly enjoy the plots. Always new and fresh, exciting and adventurous, full of good amimals with great character qualities and really bad ones to be defeated. The writing carries you along until you are part of the Redwall world. My youngest is twelve, she reads a redwall book every 3-4 days. She reads them over and over until the book falls apart. I will replace them with hardcovers, because I want them for my grandkids, whenever they come along.

Summary: Lord Brocktree
Review: This book has a great plot. The mountain of Salamandastron has been taken over by a ruthless vermin horde. That's not all. The horde of vermin are all blue! They are the servants of Ungatt Trunn. The hordes all wash in special powders that make them blue for as long as they have fur. There is only one hare who escapes their takeover, Fleescut. Now it's up to Fleescut to warn Lord Brocktree so they can gather an army to defeat Ungatt's blue hordes once and for all. Join them as they travel to the kingdom of King Bucko. A young haremaid named Dotti joins them and fights King Bucko for the crown. Can she win? Even if she can, will the kingdom be enough to defeat the blue hordes?

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This was the first book that I had read in the redwall series and it was amazing. After reading this book I am excited to read the rest of the series. The books dialog can be a bit confusing at first but really adds to the story. I loved how it told many different creatures tales within the same book. I would reccomend this book to a reader of any age that likes stories full of imagination and fun.

Summary: One of the best yet!
Review: This is one of those books in the series which give you links to Mossflower. It tells the tale of Lord Stonepaw, who defends the mountain for the longest out of all badgerlords. Ungat Trunn, who is Verdauga Greeneyes' Brother(also in Mossflower), takes over it easily, having great force in numbers, while Lord Brocktree, his son, strives to reach the mountain and to restore peace ther once more. Brian Jacques makes the series balanced in the fact of male/female warriors and main characters, and the main female's personality is enough to make anyone laugh. A female hare named Dotti comes with Brocktree to the mountain, and gets involved in 3 contests with the King of mountain hares, King Bucko Bigbones, which consists of Bragging, Feasting and Figthing challenges, which end with funny results! While this is going on, Fleetscut, an old hare from th mountain, spreads the word to stop the invasion. He is helped by Jukka the Sling, a squirrel chieftain, although they don't get along very well. That is an understatement! The best concept of the book are the development of the characters, which I like in all of his books.

Summary: One of the best Redwall books!
Review: This book is very exciting and it is one of my favorites of the Redwall books. Everyone should read it!

Summary: One of the Funnest Yet
Review: Lord Brocktree, going to Salamadastron, teams up with a young hare named Dottie. Dottie, a "fatal beauty", helps makes this one of the best Redwall books with her wit and humor. I mean, who could resist a insult battle? Hang on through the first chapter or two, though, since the scenes with Old Lord Stonepaw can get monotonous sometimes, and that's where you start out. But by "monotonous", I don't mean "I can't stand this." I mean "I think I'll skip this part the third time I'm reading it." Come and be along side Dottie, Lord Brocktree, and all of there followers in the epic battle to defeat Ungatt Trunn (brother of Verdagua Greeneyes from 'Mossflower') and rid the Westren shores of evil. It's a journy you won't soon forget.
