Review: The most thought-provoking and profound book I ever read, it became my personal bible and I turn to it during different phases of my life..I always find the answers through the moving imagery of Gibran's words..I promised myself that if I ever had a son I will name him Kahlil and I did. Hope my son grows up to be a man of wisdom like his namesake! If you havent read it, YOU MUST!

Gibran's pragmatic spiritual philosophies are practically undebatable, and he doesn't miss a beat. Review: This book is amongst the many inspired by a greater Truth. Truth, like The Prophet, is neither good or bad - it just is. In any language, the poetry of Gibran's truth rings with a rythym that is soothing and challenging. He strips away all distractions, hitting the core of the matter with a searing vision. The Prophet's Truth has nothing left to take away.... without altering it's beauty. Thank you Gibran for sharing this with us. This is one of those books that illuminates the way and should be there close at hand for the difficult decisions. Make sure you buy two though - I guarantee someone will take your copy as they skim through it in search of answers.

Summary: An excellent book that should be carefully read.
Review: The Prophet is one of the books that, when read time after time, the reader discovers a new meaning. I'm amazed from Gibran and proud that he is from my country, Lebanon. The prophetic accent and the symbols that Gibran used are great characteristics of his style and his subjects are discussed with care. This is, without doubt, one of the greatest books ever written. If anyone has never read it, he or she is missing out on something extraordinary.
