Summary: Please...
Review: Probably the most ridiculous book I've ever read by someone I (used to) respect. It's written in the most annoying, rapid-fire, kid-who-had-too-many-snickers-bars-and-decided-to-tell-the-world-that-he-likes-puppies style. Thanks, Bill, for telling us how to think, and what is acceptable for us, as human beings. The attempts at humor are tragic, and the constant "I'm an independent thinker, but my independent thoughts just happen to line up exactly with the current RNC leadership" get old very quickly. It has become very apparent that Bill has let success go to his head, and now, like all public figures, believes that people should be interested in every little nuance of his brain. Stick to TV, Bill.

Review: Hard-hitting, honest, need-to-read book. Before you vote, read this book!

Summary: Go, Bill
Review: It's a shame other news interviewers do not tune into Fox News and learn from Bill O'Reilly, the master. I am so sickened by questioners such as Jim Lehrer of PBS who ask probing, incisive questions with no heavy dollop of either sarcasm or attitude. Where is the entertainment value in that? O'Reilly's book is, like his show, short on insight and facts, but loaded with warm, nourishing bluster. Go, Bill! Really.

Summary: you're about to enter a no spin zone!
Review: from the most powerful man in primetime comes this great book, that is a quick read, mainly because you just can't put it down. as always, o'reilly doesn't hold back! but far from just the political issues that dominate "the factor", o'reilly also takes a look at other important social issues, like dating and friendship. here is my own "most ridiculous item of the day"; that people still think of him as a memeber of the "vast right wing conspiracy"! get real people! the reason bill o'reilly is numero uno is because, as always, he is fair and balanced. good job o'reilly!

Summary: Biased and unprofessional
Review: As a former news reporter, I have to say that I was offended by this book -- and upset to think that the American public would mistake this kind of bias for real reporting. The only way to preserve one's reputation as a TRUE journalist, which Mr. O'Reilly is NOT, is to maintain a balanced perspective. Obviously, this man has lost that sense of balance. The STORY matters -- the journalist's opinion does NOT. In this case, I cannot say that I am shocked that THIS so-called journalist has forgotten that basic tenet of journalism, because his low standards were evident years ago when he hosted a pseudo-news tabloid TV show. The surprise was that Fox News dubbed him a "news anchor" and gave him a pulpit for his biased views along the way.

Summary: O'Reilly Hits A Home Run!
Review: This is a great read. It's well worth your money. O'Reilly puts alot of everyday experiences in a new, excellent framework. He connects both the past and the future in new ways.

Summary: VERY ENTERTAINING !
Review: If you watch Bill O'Reilly's televised show you won't be surprised by his facetious, adroit, opinions. If you've never seen his commentary and his dismantling of squirming guests you're in for an entertaining evening reading this book. It has the same irreverent, factual confident yet humorous tone. I like the book. It is divided into three sections. It first deals with what you as an individual are up against in your life as an American; next- personal relationships- the important ties that bind you to family, friends, and bosses; and finally on to "American itself and what is happening to this country today." Snipnets on Pamela Anderson, Calista Flockhart, Al Sharpton, Jerry Springer, Rosie O'Donnell, Santa Claus, Mike Myers, Dave Barry, Robin Williams; memorable quotes from Will Rogers, D. H. Lawrence, Bernard Baruch, David Thoreau to mention a few; and a myriad of movie reviews that will keep you engrossed and turning pages. Very very entertaining!

Summary: Great Book
Review: If you like his TV show you'll love this book. If you don't know about his TV show this book is a good place to start.

BTW the low ratings a few of these people have given this book are perfect example of how left-wing extremists want to keep everything that doesn't praise them unavailable or censored. I guess it is ok to censor if it is to help further the socialists' agenda.

Summary: Really good book.
Review: I am not into books like these at all. However I do believe that this is one of the best non ficton works I have read this year.

Summary: Guidebook to becoming a smart, independent free thinker
Review: O'reilly, as usual, takes a logical and smart approach to many topics in this book. Some are controversial, such as sex, religion, politics, and race. Others are much more personal such as his views on Parenthood, relationships, and friendships. His points are very cleary made, and whether you agree with them or not, his ideas are backed up by data and common sense. I would have given his book a 5, but the writing style took a little getting used to and seemed a little too fragmented. Overall though a good read. Read this book!
