Summary: Stone Fox!
Review: I like Little Willy because he is determined to do what he wants to. I also like Stone Fox because he is also determined and kind. I also like Searchlight, but I don't like Clifford Snyder much at all. I liked the story even though it had a very dramatic ending. I am eight years old. The reading was easy, except some of the words were a little old-fashioned. I would highly recommend the book.

Review: In the book Stone Fox by John Reynolds Gardiner, Willy's grandfather almost dies because he doesn't have money to pay the taxes. Willy enters a race and tries to win because if he wins he can get money. If he loses the race, the farm is gone. He does lose the race and his dog dies. I think this is a sad story because I felt very sad when I finished reading it.

Review: Very few children's books that are written at this level have a high enough interest to hold the students imagination. This book does an excellent job. It has a simple plot that climaxes with a tear-jerking ending. Worth a read, or two!

Review: I kind of liked the book, Stone Fox by John Reynolds, because I liked that little Willy wanted to save his grandpa. My favorite character was little Willy because he was the main character. He was a caring character in the book. I think the story is good because the end was really sad. I would recommend this to anyone who likes sad stories and a little action.
