Review: I, loved this book it was very sad and fun to read. I never wanted to stop! I will recomend it to everyone! I think the author did a very good job! I give it 1,000,000 stars (if I could). I would say it is the #1 book in the world. I do NOT know who would not like this book!

Summary: It was one of the most depressing books, but it was good.!
Review: I started this book with an open mind and left it with a sad but happy heart. Stone Fox is about a young boy wanting to overcome his age and be an adult, and I think he did in this book. His grandfather was very sick. Willy and his grandfather had a lot of unpaid taxes. So young Willy wants to get money. First he harvests the potato field. But that did not make the granddad any better. About 2 weeks later he sees an ad up for a winter dog sled race. That would be it. That would make the grandfather better. His dog, Spotlight, is really fast. He could get all the money, but will he? He is up against the Indian, Stone Fox. Will he win and get the money or will he lose and get nothing? I would love if you got to read this great book, because it is for all ages and all kinds of people.

Summary: Excellent for high interest - low reading level
Review: I am very excited about using this novel as part of our reading program. The interest level is so much higher than the decoding level - perfect for my class of boys with reading disabilities! The theme of overcoming difficulties and challenges is also very appropriate. I strongly recommend this to other teachers and parents of LD children.

Review: This is a book about a boy named Willy and his grandpa wants to die. Willy has to grow cpops and do everything! One day he finds out he owes taxes of $500. He enters a National Dogsled Race against many famous racers and wins. But, something very, very sad happens and to find out you will have to read this book! This is a great easy-read book!

Review: Stone Fox is about a boy named Willy;he and his family lived in a small town. When winter setteled in,the grandfather got sick. Can Willy take care of the farm and make money? To find out you must read this book. It is the best book. A child 14 years-old could still relate to Willy's issues. I recommend you read this book because you will enjoy it. There are many good charactres in this story,but the main characters are Willy,and his dog Search light. Willy is a good boy who only wants to keep his remaining family alive. Shearch light, is Willy's loyal dog who is at Willy's side all the time. I like this book because of the type of person Willy is. He was small yet determined. He was a good sport,and he played fair. He was young in the story about 10.,I like these types of stories beacause thay have good endings. This book is a must read.

Review: This book was very interesting. I'm only in 6th grade and my teacher read the book aloud to the class. I think Willie was brave to take on adult responsibilities as a child. He took over the farm and his grandfather's life when he (grandfather) fell ill.

Review: My favorite part of Stone Fox is when Seacrchlight and Willy entered the race and when he stated. He got infront of StoneFox. And when he to a house he spent the night there.He got up really early and started. Willy got past the train and he got to the finish line.I chose this book because tried to save his grandpa.I recomend this book to children and adults because it is very sad.I think it's a good book to read at night the ending is especially sad.

Review: Stone Fox is a fast paced action filled book that gets right to the point. Its main character is a boy named Willy. The book is very short and has a simple plot. It really made me wonder what will happen next. An easy read.

Review: I read this book aloud to my special education students and they never took their eyes off of me. One could have heard a pin drop in the room. The students listened intently to every word - something they seldom do at the same time. I read half of the book one day and the remainder the next day. They could not wait to finish the book on that second day.
