Review: I give Stone Fox three out of five stars. Stone Fox is by John Reynolds Gardiner. My favorite characters was Willie and Searchlight. This story takes place in Wyoming. There is a big dogsled race and Willie needs [money]so that his grandfather can keep his farm. Willie is racing against Stone Fox, the best one in the race. Stone Fox hasn't lost a race yet. I think this was an o.k. book. I highly recommend this book to a friend or family member.

Review: The book we read is called "Stone Fox" by John Reynolds Gardiner. My favorite character is Little Willy. Here's three reasons why Little Willy is my favorite character: One reason is he never gives up. Another reason is he believed in himself, and third, he believed he could win the race. I recommend this book to anybody.

Review: -The name of my book is Stone Fox. In my words I really liked it. The book is about a kid, Little Willy, and his grandfather. His grandfather tries to die because their farm's horses died and there are no animals to pull the sled. His grandfather is scared of the crops dying and having nothing to sell at the market. Little Willy gets his dog and makes the dog do all the work in the field. At the end there is a sledding race. Little Willy is using one dog and the person who is racing him has a dozen dogs and a really nice sled. Little Willy has just one dog and a sled that he made.
I like the book because I personally love dogs. I like any animals, like cats. I thought it was very interesting. If you like animals like dogs and dog sledding you will really like this book because it is mainly about dog sledding. The book contains a lot of action. Little Willy shows courage and strength. The end is a heart breaking surprise. The book is very easy to understand.

Review: The book Stone Fox by John Reyndals Gardner was good. My favorite character was Stone Fox. The story took place in Wyoming. One moral of the story was always pay your taxes. I would recommend this book to everyone. Read it from beginning to end. Willy races with just one dog, Searchlight. The other racers had more dogs.

Willy's grandpa is sick and Willy needs money to survive and pay the bank because his grandpa didn't pay so the bank was going to take the farm away. Willy decides to go in a race to earn a lot of money if he wins. Find out what happens to Willy and Searchlight. I recommend this book to you if you like races and unexpected endings. My absolute favorite character was Searchlight because she was very brave and strong. I also love dogs! This story took place in Wyoming, in the mountain area. Review: Stone Fox was an excellent fiction book. The setting of the story was in the mountains of Alaska in the present day . The main characters in the book were Jerry, Shantey,Charley and the wolves. My favorite character was Jerry because he was brave. My favorite part of the book was when Justin made a left turn on a snow board and he fell in the snow and got lost in the mountains. The wolves found them and they helped them. I would recommend this book to teenagers because they will understand it well. I would recommend this book because it has lots of action.
