Summary: I think it was a great book. It is my favorite series
Review: Any one who likes Star Wars, and action, should read this

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must read for all Wars Fans! The recapturing of Coruscant
Review: If you want to read any other Star Wars books, read this one first. Without it, you won't have any idea what is going -- how is the New Republic centered on Coruscant?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The book is very exciting!!
Review: In this book we finally grt to find out how the New Republic captures Coruscant. Even though some parts are boring, the end space battle is great. I think that the book could of been better if the author made the battle a little more challenging. Rogue squadron is once again the reason for the New Republics sucess.

Summary: A bunch of fighter pilots capture Coruscant???
Review: This book is far worse than the first one, in that Rogue Squadron captures the Imperial Homeworld. I mean, they're fighter pilots, not commandos. And again, Corran helps substantially. I wish Corran would just blow his brains out. Wedge is the only character worth reading, and he doesn't make much appearances, compared to Corran. How worse can it get? Oh yeah, there are two more books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Better than the first, but a change for the Rogues?
Review: This book is so much better than the first but seems to lack the dog - fighting that the other books have so much of. Don't get me wrong though, this is one top class book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Exciting
Review: Stackpole has done a really good job on this book. He really captures your imagination and puts you at the scenes of the battle. You can just imagine yourself in the Bacata Tanks after the attack.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: That's a thrill !
Review: Fabulous ! This book really rocks ! I have already read SW books which actions actually happen after the plot of this book, and one could think that since we know what happens next, there's no real interest in discovering the Rebellion's taking Coruscant. Yet, it's all the contrary here : at every moment we're looking forward to seeing what happens next, there are a lot of surprises, and all of that makes it a terribly thrilling and exciting book on which you're stuck until you've finished it. Mickael Stackpole is a really very great writer, at least the equal of Timothy Zahn I would say, and he has managed to create around Wedge a new genuine set of characters into whom and into whose adventures one can easily have a great interest, and characters who are really consistent, I mean with a deep and great personnality. So, this is one of the greatest SF books I have ever read (after Hyperion and its sequel, of course), hence it's truely worth its five dollars : this won't ruin you, and you shall spend some good time with it.

Summary: WOW! THAT WAS A GOOD BOOK!
Review: This was the first "Star Wars" book I've ever read, and I thought it was a great book. Even though it didn't have lots of space battles like I expected but I thought taking over Coruscant was pretty interesting too. It Was Good! ( YOU SHOUD READ IT!)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Neck & Neck between this one and Iron Fist for my favorite
Review: I absolutely loved this book. Even if you know minimal about star wars, this is still a great book. Stackpole pulled off a super book, so artisticly explaining how the fearless pilots of Rogue Squadron infilirated the capital of the empire, made new allies, and overthrew the heart of the Empire. Be amazed as Corran Horn manages to ensure the victory of the alliance in a single stroke of the Z-95's laser cannon. What a great book! Thumbs up to you Stackpole.

Summary: Much better than the first book !!! But espionage????
Review: Wedge's Gamble was much better than Rogue Squadron, but it wasn't perfect. (I personally don't see why the book is titled "Wedge's Gamble" when all he did was order Tycho on Coroscaunt). Howevr the idea of having Rogue Squadron do espionage is .. quite queer. As stated in Kevin J. Anderson's book, "Darksaber" General Crix Madine does the spy stuff for the republic. Therefore because Rogue Sqaudron was stuck doing espionage on Coroscaunt those of you who thrive for space fights which involve X-wing vs. TIE's.had to settle for Z-95 headhunters. In this series however Rogue Sqaudron is portrayed as the symbol for the Rebellion. Also Wedge is given a lpt of credit for the destruction of the Death Stars as I recalled Luke blew up the first Death Star, and Han Solo had mad it possible by saving Wedge and Luke's life during the run. Another point Wedge had to leave the and go in for repairs.

However since the Squadron was paired up on Coroscaunt some intere! sting things happen between Corran and the "bacta queen".He also met a lot of old nemisis as well as buddies from back when CorSec was around. But like I said before the downfall was no X-wing ccombat.
