Rating: Summary: Not believing this one... Review: From a style viewpoint, the writing is at quite a low level. You get the feel that the author is trying to "talk" to you, but it is unconvincing. On top of this, there seem to be logical flaws to the story being told by the author (which he claims to be true). One of the flaws that stands out in my mind begins with a character in the book who is recalling a past life. The character is speaking through this past life persona in the first person, yet refers to the year as some date with a B.C. attached to the end of it. How would "someone" living in this era ever know to refer to the year as B.C. Nice try Weiss.
Rating: Summary: Love; permanent, and multidimentional Review: Have we lived in the past (or can we premember our future lives?) Weiss, a doctor of the soul, bring forth a messsage that can help you understand the multidimentionality of your soul and the possibilities of the human adventure in its universal journey.
Rating: Summary: A Good Book but with distractions Review: I am thrilled to learn that Dr. Weiss could connect the two lovers. On the other hand, their stories are a little too long.
Rating: Summary: Worthwhile Read Review: I enjoyed reading this book. I really believe the soul lives on and on and we come back in order to be more complete and to learn lessons. It would be wonderful to meet our soulmate and be united for an enternity. It is just a matter of how developed we are in life and at what stage and level one has acquired. The way that these two people come together in unity it exhibits to me how love can cover all things. I remember how the author talks about a life without love could drive you crazy. These people were in therapy and it does prove that love is a cure-all. It gives us all hope and life without that is really worth nothing. The book made me look at relationships through a different looking glass.
Rating: Summary: More than a book about reincarnation Review: I found this book to be a lot different then it's pre-sequel, Many Lives Many Masters, but equally as good. I recommend this book to almost anyone who has an open mind. I found the book captivating and I couldn't put it down!
Rating: Summary: Compelling! Review: I have always wondered what a "soul mate" exactly meant. I knew soul mates were "meant to be" and went along great together and shared a love very strong and passionate. However, it didn't occur to me that it was as Brain Weiss shows and proves in this book. I picked it up and couldn't put it down it was so compelling. The reality (I believe it is) that all of us human beings have soul mates and that we live through countless lives with them, learning, struggling and sharing a love and bond so strong nothing can stop the souls from staying together for eternity is so beautifully expressed through this novel which was written with talent and expression. I would reccomend this book to people who are romantic, and open minded. Those who are close-minded and refuse to believe anything other than what they feel safe to believe even when the hard solid facts are placed before their very eyes, I would reccomend they stay away from this book. It is a lot to take in, and not many people would guess it is the way it is. However, I find this amazing. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: only love is real Review: i have never read a book so quickly. i kept thinking about it when i put it down and i had to go back.
Rating: Summary: Great work of reincarnation Review: I have read many books on reincarnation, but none so real and believable as this one. It was wonderful. Reincarnation believers or not will love this book. It's a great story. The medical side is easy to understand and very intersting. I have recommended this book to many friends who never had an opinion on reincarnation. They all loved it and are now believers. This book gives you a whole new outlook on life. One that offers hope and love.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful Book from a Beautiful Soul Review: I read Dr. Weiss' first book Many Lives, Many Masters and knew I had to read more from him. I was immediately overwhelmed with a feeling of inner peace and spirituality that has remained a part of my life. I could feel his tranquility and comfort in the subject matter. Then I found this book "Only Love is Real" and again was so amazed at the feeling of true love and peace that was evoked in the work. The book has so impacted my life that its' title has become my own personal motto. Reading this book caused me to step back and reassess my own life, its' direction, and the people I chose to include in my journey. I only want others in my life that hold the same spiritual principals that have become most important to me. Love and peace and a desire for knowing that life is a journey in attaining that goal of total love and total acceptance. Thank you, Dr. Weiss, for exposing me to the beauty of love and the spiritual quest of realizing that indeed "only love is real".
Rating: Summary: The new content was very pleasing Review: I read this book in one night so this book has some amazing things in it that make the heart beat. Its like an eternal longing to be with the One that connects with you. Isn't that what we look for, certain connection that electrifies your spirit and is more than the body or mind. When you look into someones eyes and you know you met them before. I was a Christian when I met my soulmate and in this faith reincarnation is not believed but I couldn't explain why I felt so joyous and happy, when I laughed around him and I couldn't look at his eyes because I knew that I would give away that I loved him and it seemed impossible to love without "knowing" him, but I felt like I knew him forever...I spent months fighting the illogic of it till I read this book. Now I know, I have known him before. Besides the very real confirmations of what I heard and knew from the spirit that was read in this book, I also noted come very similar repetitions in the book that could have been excluded and it could have contained more information about other soulmate relationships that he had witnessed. This love story was beautiful and it makes a person wonder about the nature of enternal love between people. How long have you loved the one you are with? I do suggest care in taking this information to practice and hope for ones in your life that may be temporary - it seems that some self-mastery is involved in finding the true one.
