Review: Book Review The object of Christian living is that ultimately we will, at death, go to heaven, or "Be with God'. We have a vague concept of heaven as being "in the sky", or "above the clouds", or as a place where "I will sit on a golden throne and play a harp!" Boring! We shun the idea that someone may have personal knowledge of "the other side" or be able to reassure us that although we experience physical death, our soul survives and we live in eternity. That is, unless we choose to reincarnate and return to the negativity of this planet or others and learn the lessons needed to perfect our soul. The perfection of our soul is our reason for existence on this plane. Reincarnation is no longer part of Christian doctrine, although it was an integral part of Christianity until it was removed from teachings by Pope Constantine at the Council of Nicea in the third century. The church wanted full control of the people, and could not instill fear of "God's righteous wrath" with the promise of more than one chance to "make it right". God is love, and like a parent with a child, does not condemn us to "Hell" if we don't learn our lessons on the first try. Sylvia Brown, in "Adventures of a Psychic" shares her God given gift of clairvoyance and allows us to share the intimate details of good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation, or shifting of shadow". We are willing to accept man's miracles of rockets to the moon, television, and computers, yet refuse to accept that he has given a mortal the gift of insight into his world. Christians are reluctant to open their eyes and minds to anything not sanctioned by the church. We need to learn to explore other ideas and possibilities. If our faith is as strong as we profess it to be, reading someone else's experiences and ideas is not going to sway us. But believing in what Sylvia has to say is only going to improve our lives and our relationships. Sylvia does not stray from Christian teaching. She was raised a devout Catholic, taught in Catholic school and gives God credit for every gift that she has. Read the book; you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. As Sylvia says, " You are never asked to endure more than your soul can take!".

Review: I'm a science mayor and it's hard for me to beleive most of the book, however I did enjoyed reading it.

Summary: CALMING AND INSPIRATIONAL-FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY
Review: This book was given to me by a friend on the same day as my father was having major surgery. I was very interested in Slyvia's life. I read a few pages at a time, was dissapointed when Francine spoke about HEAVEN, I wanted more of Sylvia. Two weeks after I finished the book, my father passed away. I now know why I was given this book for me to read. I was able to let go of my father, to let him pass to the other side. He will be there waiting for me & his family. Summary: Everyone must read this book, A book about life
Review: What a great book. Lots of information about life. After reading I have connected more to GOD. I have become more spiritual and have now communicated with my spirit guide. I also have learned to touch my psychic abilities. Sylvia has changed my life for the better, no more dogma. Life isn't easy but she made it bearable. Thank you Sylvia for this book, for the church you started, for your son Christopher, for sending the white light to me and saving my life. Love you Sylvia Browne! Thanks GOD for a wonderful person.

Summary: This book changed my whole outlook on life
Review: I've watched Sylvia Browne for a few years on Montel Williams. I got the book and started to read it and couldn't put it down. I used to be afraid of death, not anymore! Her words and inspiration turned my life around. I look at every situation with a different outlook now. Sylvia Browne is truly an angel and a gift from God to all of us!! Thanks!!

Summary: Spiritual gifts are given to all of us, as ordinary people
Review: This is the story of an ordinary woman, that discovered her spiritual gifts, accepted them, and then accepted the responsibility of using them for the greater good of people and this world. What is really so incredibly neat about this book, is that Sylvia tells her readers about how she has been using her spiritual gifts in the midst of a normal human life, with all of the ups and downs that all of us experience. It made me realize that people who are used by God are not perfect people, they are people who desire God to use them, and then allow Him to do so. It made me realize that we are human vessels who can be used by God and who can be spoken to by God, if we will allow ourselves to listen to Him speaking to us. This book made communication from the other side very real to me.
