Rating: Summary: Wonderfully written.... Review: This is the first Debbie Macomber book I have read and definitely won't be the last. I enjoyed every page of it! Usually in the past I've found romance novels to be either sappy or sad or both. But a good romantic comedy is hard to come by. The author does a wonderful job of incorporating humor into the story, and still you can feel the heat between the two main characters even though they refuse to see it. Reading about Hallie's disasterous dates was extremely entertaining. Another thing I enjoyed was the setting, being from the Pacific Northwest myself, I recognized many of the places referred to in this book. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants entertainment, but nothing super-deep. This book also made me rather glad I got married when I was 20!
Rating: Summary: THIS MATTER OF MARRIGE Review: THIS MATTER OF MARRIGE IS THE BEST ROMANCE BOOK EVER I GOT LIKE ALL DEBBIE'S BOOKS INCLUDING THIS MATTER OF MARRIGE SHE'S A GREAT ROMANCE WRITER .
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: This was a great book! I liked the fact that the main characters spent a lot of time getting to know each other and became great friends. One could believe that these two were in love. The rest of the story was done well too. Plus there was a lot of humor. Since I borrowed this from a friend, I may have to go get my own copy!
Rating: Summary: i enjoyed it alot!! Review: This was the first romance novel that I've ever read that hasn't bored the heck out of me, and put me to sleep. This was sweet, funny, truthful, and enjoyable. The charcters could be my next door neighbors.
Rating: Summary: Talk about the girl next door.... Review: well what about the guy next door? Sometime a potential "love mate" is closer than you think, though Halle doesn't see it in her recently divorced next door neighbor. She continues to go on bad dates with other "potentials" until she finally see the light and realizes that a relationship should begin with friendship. Enjoyable book.

Rating: Summary: INCREDIBLE!!!! Review: Well, how can I start! Since I myself am going to turn thirty in a year...I related so much with this book! There comes a time that you realize your "life" needs "change!" - and those changes includes a "husband" a "companion". This book made my entire year - it gave me "hope" that what I have always heard is true.."when you least expect it (and where), is where you will find the love that is for you!" It was incredible. I couldn't put it down. If you are in your "late" twenties, female and thinking that you are "alone" in the single life...READ THIS BOOK...it gives you inspiration and the "hope" that sometime fades away in your "search"! I just learned also that the book was sold to Showtime - when is the movie coming out??? I can't wait to see it! THANKS FOR BRINGING SUCH A WONDERFUL INSPIRATION TO US "NICE AND LONELY" FEMALES IN SEARCH OF LOVE.
Rating: Summary: Timeless Review: When Lavryle Spencer announced she was no longer going to write I was sorry to say the least. Where was I going to find another author I liked as well? By chance I found Debbie MacOmber and I have been happy every since. This book is for any women who has waded through the good the bad and the just plain awful to find true romance. I am a very visual reader and Debbie paints wonderful pictures without a lot of clutter. My advice-get a steaming cup of coffee or tea, this book and enjoy!
