Summary: THIS BOOK HELD MY INTEREST RIGHT THROUGH TO THE END
Review: I read this book in 1 1/2 days. I loved it. Debbie Macomber made me a loyal fan forever.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is one of my favorite books by debbie macomber!!!
Review: I started this book yesterday and could not put it down! From the start to the finish this book kept me hooked! I hope that this author will do a second part to this book!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: pretty good
Review: I'm not generally a romanance fan, but this book sounded so cute to me from the beginning, and it was. But the thing I disliked about it was, that the woman, Hallie, changed herself so much just to fit what a man wanted. What happened to being yourself? Going to Wonder Bra just because I man likes a good set of breasts... please!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So far So good
Review: Loved it. I have reread this book for so many times, that i now have the copy in like, almost perfect condition. At first, I'm like "Ok, I'll see how this is" and well, here I am givin' it 5 stars. If you liked this one, you've got to read all of Debbie's others, like Fallen Angel, not the war book, but the so totally cool, romance book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent example of what romance novels should be.
Review: Nobody does this genre better than Debbie MacOmber. Contemporary issues, realistic characters, warm humour.... I fall right in and come out at the end smiling. If you don't normally read romance, D MacOmber is the way to start.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not your usual cheese
Review: OK, I admit I was very skepitcal when my friend loaned me this book. I mean, she reads cheezy romance novels, those famous "bodice-rippers." Nothing wrong with that, just not my style. But the minute I picked this book up, I couldn't put it down! I agree with someone else about how Hallie changed herself to fit what a man wants and how that's not something to really admire. I agree, but if you don't take the book so seriously and don't view Hallie as a role model in that way, it's a fun, fast read. Very entertaining!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: this book is outrageously great!!!!!
Review: This book is the most life like adventure. Hallie's endless battles with realtionships are so real it took my breath away. I couldn't put the book down. Every chance I had I was reading it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome!
Review: This is absolutely the BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! I am hooked now on her books! My second favorite is Summer Sisters my Judy Blume

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Macomber is a New Favorite!
Review: This is the first book I've read by Macomber and it was absolutely delightful and wonderful, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys humor and romance. Reading this book was a leap for me as I rarely read contemps, but I am glad I took a chance.

This is the story of Hallie who becomes ambitious nearing her 30th birthday and decides with her friend Donnalee to find a husband and start a family. Meanwhile, Steve moves in next door with his adorable children Meagan and Kenny. Steve is trying valiently to win back his ex wife, Mary Lynn, who is dating another man.

Hallie's dates are disasters, but in the meantime she becomes very close to Steve and his children and she and Steve help each other out in times of need and become great friends, but when will they realize that they are just perfect for each other, and even if they do will their pride keep them apart?

Well I can't tell because that would spoil the fun. You'll just have to read it for yourself. However, I recommend it because all the characters are fantastic. Hallie is sweet and determined and through the whole novel I was cheering her on. Steve was romantic and loving and deserved Hallie after that horrible and selfish Mary Lynn. His kids were great secondary characters who were always trying to push Hallie and Steve together. It's child intuition I tell ya. Hallie's friend Donnalee and Steve's friend Todd were also great.

Also, this book is very humerous and realistic. This is important because I want to believe that people like this could really exist. All in all, reading this novel made me happy, which is the main purpose of a good fiction book, especially romance novels. Romance will never fail to lighten my day, and this book is a great romance. Happy Reading!:)
