The book was so good Willam Howard Armstrong. Ilove it and it was sad and little good times. The book was so cool. Ther was the mom how she work lot the dad to get the food fo his family.
Sounder had to get his master. the family live to be sad about Sounder and the father.but it was good.

Review: The book sounder was ok but it was kind of boring. Then there were some exciting parts like when the sheriff shoots the dog and when the guard hits the boys fingers.

Review: When I first read the book Sounder it was boring,but as we got more into it,it stated getting more intresting.This book was really good.It was abuot this little boy's family is poor.His father tries to impress his family by stealing food.The father gets caught and goes to jail.the dog,Sounder tries to save his master but gets shot.Sounder did not go home for a very long time.The boy looks for his father in the town.While the boy is looking for his father he finds a book.The boy meets a teacher.The boy and the teacher become friends.The teacher wants the boy to go to school.So the boy moves in with the teacher and starts going to school.The boy's father gets out of jail and goes home.The father and Sounder both die.

Review: When I first read the book I thought it was very interesting. The thing about it that made it so good is that it was like it was happening as I read it...When I first started the book I thought it was not going to like but at the end I did and I was happy I read it. So you may think it is not good at first but give it a try.

Review: I THINK THE DOG WAS NOT LIKE OTHER DOGS,BECAUSE HE WOULD SOUND SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN OTHER DOGS.WHEN WE WENT THROUGH THE BOOK I WAS STARTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE PERFECT DOG,AND MORE OF WHAT HAPPEN TO THE DOG,AND THEN I WENT MORE INTO THE BOOK.THEN AFTER WE{THE CLASS} READ THE BOOK WE, WELL I REALLY ENJOYED THE BOOK.

Summary: a heartfelt book
Review: I thought Sounder was a good book.I read it with my class and I liked it because you didn't know what was going to happen next.It made you wonder if Sounder was going to live after he was shot and if the boy's father was ever going to get out of jail.It was sad in the end because Sounder died mostly of old age but of mourning his masters death because the father died.I would recommend it for people that like sad books between the ages of 10 and 12.

Summary: My Review On Sounder
Review: When my class and I first read the book I thought it was very interesting.The part I loved best is when I found out that Sounder came back to the family after having been shot and missing for several days.While the book was very interesting it was also very sad,like when Sounder wouldn't bark that loud and solid bark because his master never came back.Especially in the end when the father dies after being paralyzed and when Sounder dies.I enjoyed the book very much and would reccomend it.

Review: This book was sad but exciting. It could have names though. I didn't like the part where Sounder gets shot. At least he lived for a long time. Why does the father get so desprite to steal food. I know that he was just supporting his family but to steal. The boy cared too much on Sounder if God wanted the dog to be buried he would do it himself. I thought it was good but I would change things.
