Review: I really liked the book because books with some parts seem intriguing.I wish I had a dog just like Sounder. Sounder and his master are the best of friends, even the boy and Sounder are a happy couple.The book "Sounder" is very sullen story.

Summary: The Mighty Spirit
Review: I think the book Sounder was a sad and courageous story. It was sad when the father was being dragged by the wagon on the rough, course, rocky ground with his shirt stained red with blood. He did it for his family and that was one of the bravest things I've ever heard anyone do. Even though he knew it was his fate, Sounder fought beside him till the very end. Sounder was shot trying to save his master,but he still didn't save him. As weeks passed,they didn't think Sounder would return, but he did. He may have been half dead, but he came, and so did his master as they took their last hunt, and he became The Mighty Spirit.

Summary: My Dad and His Dog
Review: I liked the book a lot. It realy made me see what he saw.
It explained every thing so well. If I was the writer I would
change the dad and dog dying. Well maybe not it makes the book
seem realistic. I really hate the way the the whites treat the
blacks. If I was president at the time I would make every one
believe in buddism. They would never fight. Their would be world
peace. The author is very creative. It is like he was the boy.The boy is very hurt and sad. I think he will become a writer.

Summary: The Wonderous Coonhound
Review: The book Sounder was ok but it was sad when Sounder got shot. He risked his life trying to save his master.After Sounder had died the boy was always going under the porch and looking for him.That was sad when the boy went to see his father and one of the guards threw a metal pipe at him and it hit him. That must of hurt.

Summary: The Big Dog
Review: I did not really enjoy the book Sounder because the book did not emotionally move me.I didn't really connect with the book.But the suspense was a little catching to me as a reader.I gave the book four stars because it is a very good book ,but I must inform that it is not a book I would ,so to speak,have my nose in and my eyes locked on.I didn't really get what the main idea of what the book was about.Some parts were not well detailed.
I would have to say the book was quite thrilling and short.Sort of,'short and sweet.'Like I had mentioned before,the book is very good,but it would not be a book that I would really enjoy.

Review: I think the book sounder was a kind of good book. I liked it a little. My favorite part was when Sounder finally barked when his master came from the jail. It was also sad when the boys father went to jail. The pictures were also good. I think the boy was a little brave because he was always looking for his father. The book also made me feel right in the story.

The part I liked most was that the dog was honest and loyal. Although the boy didn't have alot of things he always made the best of it,and he never stopped looking for his father.The boy always had an open heart.I think sounder was a good book.The pictures in the book were awesome.

Review: What I liked about Sounder is that the dad came home after he was in jail.I also liked it when Sounder came back home, and everybody was happy. What I didn't like about it is that when Sounder was outside on 3 legs and only had 1 eye and it didn't bark anymore.I think it deserved one star because it was really boring.
