Review: I thought Sounder was not that good. Its about a black boy. He has one brother and one sister a mom and dad and one dog named Sounder. The dad gets arrested because he stole a ham. Then Sounder gets shot. The boy visits the dad in jail and meets a teacher. The boy really wants to read. Then he goes home give this book 1 star out of 5 because he doesn't go on any adventures.

Review: ... I am here to give you a summary of the book Sounder. The book is about a boy, a dog Sounder, and the boys family. The boy is a young, poor, black boy. This boy has many obstacles in his life, including his father going to jail and his dog getting hurt. This book is the kind that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I personally thought that this book was average to high. On a scale of one to five stars, I would give this book three stars. I thought that this book did not have enough action in it. Though this book in not that long, it is very interesting. I hope you read this book.

Review: The novel "Sounder" was great compared to any other books I read.I thought this book was terrific because it gave you answers to your questions you thought about along the way. Also this book is worth reading because it had some action and the boy had many adventures.If you were wondering "Who is Sounder?" Well Sounder is a coon dog who stands up for his master all the time. The story "Sounder" was about a boy who is looking for Sounder and his father.The boy is looking for Sounder because he got shot by a sherrif while his dad was getting arrested.The boy continued looking for Sounder but couldn't find him. Is Sounder alive? Dead? Injured? Read the story to find out.Thank you for reading my article about "Sounder and I hope you read the book. You wont be dissapointed.

Review: "Chain him up" said the sheriff, the boy tought he was talking about Sounder, the dog. This is only part of the life the young black boy puts up with. This boy is going through a lot. His dog got shot, his dad got arrested. But on top of that some good things might happen. He might be able to read, a book! But you will never know untill you read this book. Out of a rating of 5 stars, I would give this book 4 stars.

Review: Hi my name is Jon, and I'm here to tell you about the Story of Sounder. I thought that it was pretty monotonous, but it had a good plot. It was about this boy that has to go throught some emotional, and exhausting times. This boy is black and is in the time period where black people were treated unjustly. This family could work together to build their way through things. I don't really like this book because it was pretty violent. You could read this book and see if you like it. You can see that I didn't.

Review: I really enjoyed reading this book, again. I remember being in junior high when I first picked up this book, and yet now I am in college and I still do. This book is a wonderful story that shows how hard life was for African Americans during the time of slavery. Sounder shows a range from emotions that is a wonderful guide to use as a teacher material in any classroom.

Review: What I liked about the story is when the boy never gives up on looking for Sounder and his dad and thaught that Sounder was still alive. Even though the boy had no idea where his father was he still went out to look for him.His mom knew when that he was going to go look for his father so she got him some food ready cause she knew it wasn't going to be a short trip at all.On the way to his trip he wondered if he was going to be able to remember his father and got a little nervuse.When he got to the jail he saw men on the floor putting the stones in a strait line.Then all of a sudden he heard a gun shot and he looked at his hand with blood.He saw the gaurd at the tree with a gun shot in his hand then the gaurd said''get on boy move,it''.when he left and went through the town he saw a school so he started to go a little bit faster,but then the bell rung and childeren came out and they where calling for their dogs and it remineded him of sounder.Thats what I liked about the story.

Review: I thought the book was allight because it had a father who stole food.When the father died, I felt really bad.That's why I liked the book.

Summary: Sounder and the boy
Review: The book Sounder was a ok book. It was kind of sad and I guess I would also have to say that it was kind of predictable. I think it could have been a little bit longer and that they could have let the father come home sooner so he could heel from his wounds. Then about a year later he then would go out to hunt the he would die. The end and the teacher was real nice and I wish they could say some things that he learned in the school he was going to. Except for those few things Sounder was a good book. And depending the kind of books you like to read you might like it. I have never read any other books by this author but I am sort of looking foward to reading another one of his other books. It would be nice for him to make a movie out of this book and to put in every single little details. Or it would also be nice for him or cool of him to make a sequal to this book or maybe even to the movie if he were going to make one. I also think that it would be really really so totaly awsome to meet Willam Armstrong in person. I really liked this book and I even might write a sequal to this book myself.
