Summary: EXCELLENT!
Review: OKAY, i agree with that guy from Los angeles. I saw this series a while back and i thought, "ew that looks lame." but recently i purchased the game X-Wing v.s. Tie fighter, (which is also EXCELLENT) and got interested in the concept of the book so i decieded to give it a shot. well, my review is EXCELLENT. i couldn't put it down. I am now currently reading the second of the series called "Wedges gamble." that is pretty good so far too.

Summary: A Great Way to Find out more about the Best Squadron
Review: This was a well written book. I loved the way the author portrayed each character, especialy Wedge Antilles, Corran Horn, and Tycho Celchu. This was a great book, I recommend it to all STAR WARS fans!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful expansion of the pilots in Star Wars
Review: Well, I avoided this series for a long while. I mean, I really thought it was going to be a waste of my time and effort and money. Boy, was I wrong! These books are wonderful! They also have the great ability to be able to kill anyone off because the characters are made up by the author (except for Wedge) and their destinies lie in Stackpole's hands. Thrilling...gripping. I highly recommend. It is your destiny....like it was eventually mine.

Summary: Very good book. I'd recommend you read it.
Review: Rogue Squadron is a book I really enjoyed. Micheal Stackpole successfully mixes a story of action, love (sometimes true and sometimes not), and a Rebellion's fight against a falling Empire. Stackpole knows how to write about dogfights in starfighters well. This is my favorite book, and the one I suggest to read if you're looking for a Star Wars book.

Summary: Great Book, Great Action, Great Battles, fairly good plot...
Review: hmmm, well I loved this one.. The plot was a little predictable, u know all the way through the book its building to a big space battle, that also takes place on a planet. However... I played X-Wing computers games since they came out all those years ago, and to this date Im still playing them. (Xwing Alliance) And I think that this book really described the flying of the xwings and tech stuff like that really well, and the battle with the Lancer frigate was great, would have loved the chance to pull that off in the computer game! The new characters were great too, its nice to take a break from the usual Luke and Han storys. And its also cool cause Wedge is one of the main characters... he survived all the Movie space battles, who else would be better to train a load of xwing pilots! I also think its amazing the way a character makes an apperance in the movies and has about 6 lines, and so much was developed about his character through other sources other than the movies... Like this book for example... Great book , Reccommend it, if ya like X-Wings and hey, who does'nt?

Summary: Stackpole brings Rogue Squadron to its finest.
Review: Stackpole has taken the greatest star fighter squadron and turned them into the best book series of the star wars universe. If you're going to start any Star Wars series, this is the one to go with. Once reading this, you will be hooked on the eight book series.

Summary: One of the Greatest
Review: I think this book is wonderful. It has a rich plot and gives detailed descriptions of people, events, and ships. It moves quickly. Sometimes I almost forgot it was a book! It reads more like a movie. I especially liked the way the author detailed dogfights(which there were five of).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A fast pace book. Stackpole is the best author in the galexy
Review: From the first page to the last there are no slow points in this book. The dogfights are easy to follow which has been a problem in many SW books. I just hope the rest in the series are this good.

Summary: Work of Art
Review: This book continues the adventures of rebel hero Wedge Antilles after the events in The Return of the Jedi. Wedge puts together the elite fighter group, Rogue Squadron. The very name strikes fear in to the hearts of Imperial commanders. But, even as the squadron comes together, they discover the presence of a traitor in their midst.

This book is must if you like Star Wars. The escence of George Lucas is captured into this book with a great start to an adventure.

Overall: READ THIS!

Rating: 5 stars
