Rating: Summary: Great! Review: I would recommend this book/series to anybody who considers themselves a serious Star Wars fan. I also would consider anybody who hasn't read this series less than a real Star Wars fan... Go read it, you won't be disappointed!
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: I would recommend this book to everybody, star wars fan or not, because you will be hooked no matter what. Stackpole does an excellent job (what else is new) and really got me reading. He made a wonderful blend of old and awesome characters with new and brilliant ones. The best part (my opinion) was the very graphic space battles inside of corran's x-wing. This was so excellent because it mixed big words like "psicuplink" and "hyphenfiliator" mixed with very easy to uderstand "pulled his x-wing onto it's port stabilizer and dove in a corkscrew maneuver." This blend excites and overwhelms you in excellency. You wont put it down, I guarantee it.
Rating: Summary: This book ROCKED! Review: This was great. I couldn't put it down. It almost became too much. It introduces one of my favorite charachters, and a star of the Star Wars show, Corran Horn of the brand new Rouge Squadron. The legend, the mystery, the heros... Sorry I got carried away there. Anyway, it's all true. Wedge finally gets handled by an author who actually knows how to write about him properly. He is not a mindless, uncompassinate fool. This book shows that in him. For the authors that can't do it I have to say it's hard.Corran tries to figure out his strange roomate( Who I thick is wicked cool), try not to get mad at Mirax, and get used to being a Rouge at the same time. It's a good book done by an excellant writer. I recomend it. If you don't like it, that's your problem.
Rating: Summary: A great book with action suspense and the whole bit! Review: A fine adaption of the Rogue Squadron legend becomes. The first installement sets the series up perfectly letting you know Corran Horn and the rest. Excellent work, I look forward to finishing the entire X-Wing Series.
Rating: Summary: Most Exciting X wing Adventure Imaginable! Review: Today I bought Star Wars X-wing Rogue Squadren, and I finishedit the same day! Michael A. Stackpole is obviously a Jedi Master atwritting these books, and if he reads this, the book was absolutly FABULOUS!!!!! I'm already looking for the second book in the series, and then the third, fourth, fifth....ect. Keep them comin! I'll read 'em all! Tavira Leonia
Rating: Summary: Thrilling Review: This is an excellent book, combined with the usual magic Star Wars always contains. Michael stackpole is an superb author. The other 8 are also good.
Rating: Summary: X-Wing Rocks! Review: This is one of the best Star Wars books that I have read yet! In most Star Wars books you always know that whenever Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia get into trouble they always get out of the situation without so much as a scratch. In X-Wing some of the main characters die, and the good part is you never expect it (I'm not saying it's good when they die.) I recommend this book for everyone!
Rating: Summary: an Awesome book one of Stackpole's best Review: This story is great, not only are the charectars a great mix of known and unknown races, even another Darkligter, a Gand who speaks in third person, A woman from Kessel, and of course the big man himself Wedge Antilles. but the action never seems to stop. The fighting is mostly in the cockpit but the vivid descriptions, incredible battle sites, and plenty of background on the X-wing pilots (oh and get used to calling Tie Fighters "Eyeballs", Interecptors "Squints", and Bombers "Dupes"). Bye it and enjoy, I loved it so much I read all nine
Rating: Summary: One of the best books i have ever read Review: I find this books very interesting and cool and i think everyone shoudl read it
Rating: Summary: Its the best Review: I love all of the x-wing books, and it was this book that had me hooked. I love the interation of the characters, and the way that Corran and Mirax come closer together, despite the fact that this is a star wars book. Stackpole is one of the best authurs about, and i love this book
