Rating: Summary: Really, really good Review: I'm pretty new to the Star Wars books and when I read the book Darksaber i almost gave up reading them, but when i read Rouge Squadron i was hooked. I think the fact that he didn't revolve the book around on character, instead he gave us a little background on all the characters. This is a good book to read when you don't want to go to bed.
Rating: Summary: A work unlike any other named: Star Wars Review: The X-Wing book series is an excellantly done work that combines the plot development of Timothy Zahn and the pacing of Kevin J. Anderson. The X-Wing series has told the story of a squadron, upsides and downsides, in an intriguing and fearless manner. This book will capture your imagination even if you aren't a fan of Star Wars.
Rating: Summary: Wow Review: It was kind of wierd at the start because if you don't know the names it confuses you, but what I liked the best was how the author had the guts to kill his main characters. I mean, like Daala we thought would die in Champions. And then in Darksaber.
Rating: Summary: This is a MUST BUY!! Review: I have never read a Star Wars novel. I was reading like the first five pages of this book at school and I was hooked!! I drove down to my bookstore and bought all four. In two days I've read 250 pages in the book. This is an excellent book for any Star Wars fan!

Rating: Summary: Rogue Squadron re-ignites the Star Wars Universe Review: Having read almost all of the Star Wars books, I stepped out and purchased the new Rogue Squadron book, I was unsure of what to expect from the novel, as I only knew one character. Wedge Antilles. Well from page one I was sucked into a vortex of intrigue, adventure and pure adrenalin. The book captures, the heartache, the sadness, the euphoria and the other emotions of the pilots, as they fight for their beliefs. Wedge has grown from the movies into a commanding leader, whose fearless plans are only outdone, by his compassion and ingenuity. Corran Horn is another incredible character, whose murky past, and daring bravdo, keeps you glued to each page. This book astounded me by being able to keep me interested in so many characters, whilst having multitudes of plots and sub-plots. Stackpole has produced a Star Wars legacy that should eventually move on up to grace the Big Screen. As a final note. All praise goes to the noteworthy Mr Stackpole, and may his reign as Rogue Squadron's biographer, be a very long one.
Rating: Summary: X-Wing was IN THE HOUSE! Especially Rogue Squadron! Review: When I read these books I felt like jumping in an X-Wing fighter and blasting a squadron of TIE Fighters! It was so exciting I couldn't keep away from these books. I completed Rogue Squadron,Wedge's Gamble,The Krytos Trap,The Bacta War in about two weeks! I knew they would be good even before I bought them! I couldn't wait to read it before I finished the book before it! I bought the one before it at the same time as I bought Rogue Squadron so it was hard not to skip it and read Rogue Squadron. It was also a good story. It was like there was an out-come but then something else would happen and it would keep on going and going.
Rating: Summary: A really good star wars book Review: The book was interesting because it didn't revolve around the main characters in the movies, that is what I found most interesting about this book. It had a lot of action and excitement, that made you want to keep on reading. The book also went into the characters past and what made them join rouge squadron. This was an all round great book.
Rating: Summary: Stackpole's Rogue Squadron series leaves you craving more Review: In X-Wing:Rogue Squadron, Michael Stackpole has done the impossible. He has taken a concept that has probably achieved its pinnacle of success and popularity, with the Star Wars films, and created an off-shoot that could become more popular. Rogue Squadron, while having too many characters and no ship diagrams (would have been nice to the Star Wars neophyte) is a compelling read. Stackpole creates characters so interesting that George Lucas should think about using them for his third trilogy. Corran Horn, Gavin Darklighter, Tycho Celchu, and of course, Wedge Antilles will make you forget all about Han, Luke and Leia. If the Force truly is the most powerful entity in the universe, then maybe the series will continue. A solid PC game would be a bonus as well. Until then, pick up the books and open the pages, pretty soon you'll hear the Imperial March thrumming in your head.
