Review: My friend was reading this book a while ago when i was staying in a bed and breakfast,he let me read it. After a while i had to leave the b&b so i could'nt read it any more(i was half way through). I drove my dad mad to get me this book and i was glad i did. It's the best ever. i'm now in a few page reading THRILL! it's great so far.American Star kept me in suspence with beautiful Lauren Roberts and the stud Nick Angel(o). iv'e seen chances lucky and ladyboss on video so far and read them books. i'm still trying to collect all the books. I have 11 so far>

Summary: The typical love story
Review: This book is the typical love story, at first Nick and Lauren meet, then the problems begin and keep going on until God says: from now on everything will be fine, and everything is fine. Nevertheless, the book will keep you reading page after page and willing to know what will happen in the next page.
In this book you will learn two or three things, for example what can a rich man do with your life if you are not strong enough to get out of his life (Lauren with her husband).
Almost everything written in this love story could be real, is a very good book.

Review: This is one of my favorite books of all time. I'm not a huge Jackie Collins fan, I've read some of her stuff and most of it just isn't my cup of tea. This one though! WOW! Its such a great story, peppered with flashbacks and different points of view. You just WANT Nick and Lauren to get together and just when you think they might, some tragedy yet again looms, ripping them apart. Its a smooth read, and hard to put down, so make sure you have lots of time on your hands because you won't want to stop reading. I first read this book about 6-7 years ago, put it on my bookshelf and just a few months ago pulled it out again. By this time, I had remembered the main story line but had forgotten a lot about the characters lives and the circumstances that bring them together...like the tornado....the murder....the marriages...wow.If you're a Danielle Steele fan, but like me, think her stuff is a bit too syrupy sometimes, then this is for you. Jackie Collins pulls no punches in this one, just shooting straight from the hip and telling it like it is. Its a GREAT book, buy it for your collection and you WONT be sorry!

Summary: Nothing short of superb!
Review: This is one of the few books I own that I read over and over again. Although a lot of Ms. Collins' books are filled with unnecessary sex and filth, this one is overflowing with the power of fame, fortune and desperate love. You become enveloped in the first chapter and find yourself unable to put the book down. HIGHLY recommended to those who favor Danielle Steel-type work.

Review: This was the best book Jackie Collins ever wrote, and I've read every one of them. I loved Nick and Lauren's star-crossed love story, and the mystery surrounding Cyndra was top-notch. Ooh, it was such a good book. Ooh, it made me go to the store and buy "Power." Reading Jackie Collins is like eating chocolate eclairs. Gooey and fun. Ooh. Ooh,yummy Jackie Collins is the best glitz novel writer there is.

Review: This was the first jackie Collins' book for me--now I'm hooked. She one of the best authors around. This book keeps you tuned in to every single page. After I was through reading it, I passed it on to someone else. I recommend any of her books to everyone. I can't wait to read more of them myself!
