Rating: 5 stars
Summary: She said yes
Review: I think this book is worth 5 stars because it was awesome. My favorite part was when the author described her life before the Columbine tragedy. Even though her life sounded miserable I know she was happy to be alive. Over all it was a good, yet sad, book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Moving but Factually Flawed
Review: This was the first and in many ways the most moving of the Columbine books. It has some very positive messages about faith and family but the decision was made to rush it into print before more facts about Cassie's death became available. This has undermined the book's credibility. Both the reviews that take the "It's all a lie" approach and those who say it doesn't matter how she died are only willing to look at what confirms what they already want to believe. For a more thorough understanding I'd recommend reading both Wendy Zoba's Day of Reckoning and Justin Watson's The Martyrs of Columbine. These two authors take very different but thoughtful approaches to the controversy about Cassie's final words.

Summary: Cassie was brave
Review: When I think of what Cassie did, I wonder: Would I have done the same in her position? Would I have said Yes with a gun to my head? Others of you probably have thought that, too. The shooters thought she would say No, and it probably would have been easier for Cassie to say No, too. Misty is a very talented writer. After reading this book I wonder: Should I focus on how I look? Or should I focus on God?

Summary: A Touching Story
Review: This was one of the best stories I have ever read. Misty's tale of Cassie and her unforgetable "Yes" is a great story to bring you closer to your family, and live each day to the fullest.

Summary: She said Yes
Review: The book is about a girl named Cassie Brenall who was killed at the Columbine shooting incident. Before she ever had gone to Columbine High School, she used to go to a Catholic school for boys and girls. She was one of those girls who went to school, but never did anything, until she was transferred to Columbine. She always hung out with the type who never went to school, so when she started to hang out with them she was doing the exact same thing they were doing. Ever since her death there have always been people who never knew her, but sent mail to her family. Now the only reason she was killed was because when the kids asked her if she believed God she said,"Yes" and then they shot her.
The only reason I picked this book is because in every family someone could have the exact same thing happen to them. I also picked this book because when I found out about it on the news I seriously didn't think anyone would get hurt, but they did. I enjoyed it because it was a true story and it was very sad to me.

Summary: Amazing Story Everyone Should Read!
Review: The chilling truth of the martyrdom of Cassie Bernall is exceptional. The story is real. It shows the truth behind Columbine and the fact that anyone can change. Its an inspiring story that could bring even the toughest person to tears.

Summary: A Good Read
Review: I think that this book is a good read for anyone who wants to know about Cassie, her life, her struggles and her commitment to God.

However, I am very skepticial about the notion that Cassie was the one who said "yes" to Eric and Dylan and I really didn't like the fact that the Bernalls said in the book that they can sympathize what the Klebolds(and I also assume, the Harrises) are going through and yet in the year following the release of the book, sue both families(which has since been settled). I thought that this was very disingenious and hypocritical.

Summary: A great read!
Review: I have just recently read a book called She Said Yes by Misty Bernall, and I would have to say it's my favorite book. It's about a girl named Cassie Bernall and her family. Cassie, the main character, was killed in a big shooting at Columbine High school along with twelve others. You might be thinking, what's so different about this family? Why didn't the other teens that lost their lives have a book written on them? Cassie was different - or at least her problems were different. They were not everyday teen-age problems. Her biggest problem was her best friend Mona. Mona made Cassie believe that that only answer to her problems was death. They even had a plan to kill Cassie's parents, then kill Cassie. I like this book because the story is so amazing about how God tuned her life around. I also like this book because it has made me think about what I would say if someone held a gun to my head and asked me if I believe in God and my answer depended on my life. This book has changed my life in many ways. For example, I now respect my parents a little more. As a result of reading this book I can now look at a person and tell if they're hurting just by looking in their eyes. And I live life every day as if I were ready to die any moment. All in all I would have to say Cassie Bernall was very strong in her faith and the book She Said Yes is a must read!
