Summary: A fine product, but read rather fast.
Review: I recommend these tapes primarily because they are very cheap. The only drawback is that the narrator speaks rather quickly; the plus side of this is that it forces the "hearer" to pay attention. I was worried about the background music before I got the tapes, but it is, more or less, unobtrusive (though it ranges from everything to classical to spanish guitar to Middle Eastern!). Finally, the best rec. I can give is that I'm ordering another set!

Summary: An interesting translation of the Bible, well presented.
Review: The NAB translation is new to me, and I like the straightforward, no theatrics reading. It's faster-paced than some audio bibles, which I found refreshing. Good for Bible study, and the price is terrific. Will probably give out LOTS of these for Christmas!

Summary: Do not forget the GOOD NEWS of your SALVATION.
Review: The set I bought has only 10 cass. of about 90 minuts each, packet in a very flexible carton package. It is read in a hurry but the quality is good. It is also very good recorded. The music background does not disturb the GOOD NEWS of SALVATION. I do not recommend it for beginners, but it is excellent for persons that are already familiarized with all the New Testament and have a good knowledge of the english language. I am saying this for persons as me that do not speak english everyday as his mother tong.
