Review: Do you have problems of people not picking you at a baseball game? Well Donald does. He doesn't have any friends and no one likes him, but he doesn't care. Nothing bothers him. People call him Zinkoff, because it's his last name. He's funny, nice, and brave. The book is about him doing different things like finding a best friend, trying to save a little girl, and spending time with his father. My favorite part in the book is when Zinkoff tries to save a girl named Claudia. This shows how loyal and brave he was. So if this book sounds good to you buy it or get it out of a library and read it!

Review: Loser is about a boy named Zinkoff. He is like any ordinary kid. He talks, laughs, and has fun. Different kids like to describle him as being a loser but he does not want to hear it. Loser is a hard book to follow,you should not waste your money on it!

Review: The book Loser by Jerry Spinelli Is about a boy named Zinkoff who is growing up. He attends school at Saterfield Elementary where he goes from k-6 grade. I think Loser is a very good book. I think that because Zinkoff does so many things in the book that are funny and does things that are not funny but serious.Like when Zinkoff tried to save his neighbor Claudia when she got lost in a snow storm.
Something funny that Zinkoff did was when he was trying to find a best friend and he just randomly pick a best friend, his name was Hector Binns, Hector was collecting ear wax and was going to make a candle with it when he had enough ear wax. So if you like funny books then I urge you to read LOSER!! It is a great book and it's very funny. When you start to read this book you will not want to put it down!!

Review: Did you ever hear of any one named Zinkoff? Well you will after reading loser by Jerry Spinelli. This book is about a kid named Donald Zinkoff. Zinkoff experiences a lot of things from first grade at Saterfield Elementary School to sixth grade at Monroe Middle school. He goes through field day. On field day nobody wants Zinkoff on their team. Claudia a girl down the street named Claudia goes missing and Zinkoff goes looking for her in the snow for seven hours. That is just a couple of the things Zinkoff does in this book. I like this book because you travel with Zinkoff from first grade to sixth grade. This book has showed me to respect everyone for how they are. If you are looking for a good book to read check out Loser by Jerry Spinelli. So don't be a LOSER read!

Review: Can someone with such a weird name such as Zinkoff have a kind heart and have as much courage as a lion? If you answered No, then you are wrong. Loser really shows how one kid can stick alone in tough times. Zinkoff does not realize that he is an outcast.However, Zinkoff often feels left out or not liked. Especially when it comes time for field day. Also, Zinkoff feels awkward when he takes a "test" and one of the questions asks: Who is your best friend?" Zinkoff does not know how to answer that question. It is really amazing to read a book that shows how one kid who is an outcast, can stick alone through anything. All he has to do is believe in himself!! So go out now and buy this extremely amazing book! I guarantee that you will love it and appreciate it as much as I did.

Review: Loser! That's what the kids at John W. Saturfield Elementary called Donald Zincoff. (Zincoff for short). Loser, the book by Jerry Spinelli follows Zincoff through his childhood. You see how this, nice, caring, brave but sometimes-disorderly kid is taken as an outcast. In this book Zincoff does many things like, be a mailman with his dad (his dream job), go through field-day shutdowns, and meet new friends. But what will happen when he cares for one in danger!?! Find out and read this funny book that teaches a life lesson; Don't care about being called a loser, care about being yourself!!!

This book is about Zinkoff who has never been picked, been called a loser, and has been determined to do something that has already been done. No one wants to be his friend or have him on their team. They all think he is a loser. But you know you should never judge a book by its cover.
I highly recommend this book. So if you are ever looking in a library for a book to check out try Loser by Jerry Spinelli.

Review: Loser is a fantastic book. It has several different lessons to be learned. For example: not to let yourself down because of what other people think, or to never give up on loved ones. Zinkoff, the main character has many emotions. In the beginning nothing lets him down and he is always happy. But as he gets older he realizes that he is a loser and he gets sad. This book teaches kids to keep and reach their goals. Just like Zinkoff. I recommend you to read this book.
