Rating: Summary: Monster by- Walter Dean Myers Review: Monster is the story of the experience sixteen-year old Steve Harmon had to go through, and his thoughts about it. Steve Harmon was on trial for a murder that he was not involved in. The main reason why Steve was so worried was that if he was convicted he would spend the rest of his life in prison for a crime that he did not commit. The story also talks about problems that prison inmates go through on a daily basis.

Rating: Summary: Really Good Book! Review: The book "Monster," by Walter Dean Mayers,is very interesting. I felt like i was right there hearing the trial with my own ears. I think that this is a great book for young adults to read. It sends the message that we shuold be careful where we go and not to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Steve was in the wrong place at the wrong time and now if he gets convicted he will be facing a minuim of 25 years in prison. also this novel teaches young people to be careful who you trust. This novel is one of the best that I have ever read. If u want to read an exciting and suspenseful book then you should read Monster.
Rating: Summary: My Monster Review Review: I really liked thiS story. I thought that this story is really good for us young people to read. I enjoyed the way the book made it seem like if I was right there sitting in the courtroom watching how the trial was going. This story compared a lot with how life is now a days. It really showed that young people now are wasting and distroying their lives and other peoples live by stupidity. This book taught me a valuable lesson showing me that you dont truely know who your friends are. This book is also kind of confusing. The way it talks about one thing and then its goes back to something that happened eariler (This is called flash back). These flashbacks made it harder for me to understand the book in the beginning.
Rating: Summary: " MY THOUGHTS" Review: Well this book was preety exciting, once you pick up on the setting changes its great. The way the author makes the story seem like a movie really made me comprehend the book alot more, it seems like everything Steve went through was like if he was in a movie and that made me be more interested in what might happen next in the story. When Steve was in his house and the police went there to supposedly ask him questions about the crime, they ended up taking him to jail and making him part of the case. This part of the story I think was very unfair to Steve because they made him think that they were just going to question him when in reality they were planning on taking him in custody to charge him with being part of the crime. This was a very exciting and unpredictable book, I really recomend everyone to read it especially teenagers and young adults because they are the ones that are put in this situation the most. I really enjoyed this book and I plan to read many more of Walter Dean Myers books in the near future.

Rating: Summary: Is it a monster? Review: Monster by Walter Dean Myer is a good book. The story had a great theme to it and it never lost its plot. The movie style theme of the book was great it was like you were there and not reading this book it was real hard to put down once you started reading it,not only because its a really good book but also you awlays wanted to know what would happen next.I would recomend this book to any teenager.
Rating: Summary: The great book Review: The book "Monster" has been the best book I have read so far. Water Dean Myers did a magnificent job when he wrote his book. He described the life of a teen that made mistakes. The book was intrusting how he wrote, it was like if I was their. Walter Dean Myers did a great job, I rate his book five. I rate him a five because on how intrusting he wrote the book. Also because on how he describes the characters and the settings.
Rating: Summary: MONSTER Review: This has to be one of the best books I've ever read!!!! It captivates you from the very beginning to the very end. The script form the book is written in is a nice change, rather then the everyday chapter books. I like the way the author gives so much detail about the boy's feelings and what he is going through. Also there are an interesting line of characters in the story. The plot of the book is awesome, once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to anyone, but mostly teens because we can relate more to its content.
