Summary: A Great Book full of Suspense
Review: My first Sandra Brown book ... it won't be my last! It maintained my interest from cover to cover -- no pun intended. It contained most elements I look for in an entertaining read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I liked this book!
Review: I enjoyed this book. As with most Sandra Brown books, I couldn't put it down and read it in about two days. I am a big Sandra Brown fan (I have read almost everything she has written and own about 40 of her books). I like her new style (kinda like Mary Higgins Clark) but regret that now we only get ONE Sandra Brown book per year.

Summary: Horrible
Review: It's impossible to imagine a book like this making the New York Times best-sellers list. It is horribly written, horribly plotted, garbage. I couldn't finish reading it -- and I got a copy for free.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not as good as mirror Image
Review: her first big hit, Mirror Image was the type of book that made me become an avid reader of Sandra Brown, but from that book on, she has let me down. I keep waiting for another one as good, but she promises but does not deliver.Exclusive was boring...alot to do about nothing..an extended plot that seems to go nowhere. This book, as well as the last few start off great, but dwindle down to a boring middle, and I usually rush to see where or how it ends. I think she just lost me as an avid reader..

Summary: You won't never guess who killed Lute.
Review: I thought that this book was very exciting. Every character had adventurous backgrounds and also everyone had their own reasons for killing Lute. You won't never guess who killed Lute.

Summary: Not Sandra-Brown-Caliber
Review: Surprisingly, this book was very disappointing to say the least. The plot was very choppy and it did not hold my interest. As an avid Sandra Brown fan who has always enjoyed her novels, I found her style of writing in this book to be very eclectic. I enjoy and appreciate her old and new styles of writing, but this was definitely not Sandra Brown caliber.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very fast paced. It kept you wondering who did it.
Review: It's amazing how all of the people tied to each other by circumstances in one way or another, and all of them had something to hide. I switched my opinion of who murdered Lute Pettijohn several times as circumstances unfolded. It was a very nice surprise ending. You never would have suspected the person who did commit the murder.

Summary: Best Brown Yet.
Review: This is a classic Brown romantic suspense thriller. She combines her usual star-crossed lovers, with a twisting plot, a little danger and the inevitable brown passion. The story line is much more involved than in the past, incorporating murder, corruption, the legal system and an assortment of potential villains.

Great potential for a sequil.

Summary: slow paced, easy to lose interest
Review: I have read most of Sandra Brown's book and I agree that this is not one of her most exciting books. I found it too slow paced and too caught up in mundane details. Half way through I started skimming until the end.

Summary: Much better than UNSPEAKABLE and FAT TUESDAY
Review: I have read almost all of Sandra Brown's books. Her most recent books have been very disappointing. I hated Fat Tuesday and Unspeakable. Exclusive was not much better and neither was Witness. I agree with previous readers, I want to see more stories like Mirror Image. I was however encouraged that maybe Sandra is coming back because this book was better than her more recent books. I think a sequel to Alibi could be very good. I can see potential with Rory. However a story with Davee could turn out to be too much like Fat Tuesday. Alibi also needed an epilogue. I sort of felt like I do with some Danielle Steele books; she just needed the book to hurry up and end.
