Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons, a wonderful Book Review: I just finished Sharon Chreech's book Walk Two Moons and it was wonderful. All the characters are so developed and it has a wonderful moral; appreciate things while you have them. The ending is a complete surprise with something that will change the main character's life. I do admit there are some very sad parts. So if you like adventure with some twists read Walk Two Moons.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: This book was very intresting. once you started to read it you didn't want to put it down. I also liked how Sharon Creech selected wonderful words. If you like mysteries this is a great book. When you first read the title you are confused about what it means then you figure it out in the middle of the book. In the book it says that Sal's story lies behind Phoebe's which also you find out at the end. If you read it i promise you will like it. - Niki Katoozi
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: I really enjoyed this book. Sharon Creech uses a gread choice of words that describe each chapter very well. Her choice of characters and setting are really great for younger people. She makes the book so unique by adding one story to another. Sharon kind of bends a mystery with just a plain story all in one. The best part of the book would probaly have been in the middle. I think that because the middle is when she began to combine two stories in to one. The most vivid story elements were proably the setting and the characters. The setting was just so vividly described. As you read the book you just felt like you were there. Her description of the characters were just the same. You feel as if you are part of the story.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: Walk two moons Sal is a girl that is thirteen years old. Her mother is missing and she tries to find her. While driving from Bybanks Kentucky to Lewiston Idaho with gram and gramps, Sal told stories. They stopped many places and saw Old Faithful. There are many characters. They are Sal, Ben, Phoebe, Gram, Gramps, Mrs. Cadaver, Mary Lou, Mr. Bikeway, Tommy, Maggie, Doggie, Dennis, Huzza Huzza and Blackberry. Walk Two Moons is actually two books in one. One story is about Sal, and the other is about her friend Phoebe. One day Phoebe looks for her mom, who is missing. Later Phoebe finds a lunatic and her mom. Phoebe and Sal see Phoebe's mom kissing the lunatic. When Phoebe and Sal goes back to Phoebe's house her mother calls and said she is coming home with some one. Walk Two Moons is a good book. I would give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Often it is sad, happy, scary, crazy, and exciting. There are also a lot of fun mysteries in the book. Sometimes it's confusing because there are a lot of characters. I would recommend this book to 10 to 14-year-olds.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: Walk Two Moons is about a girl named Sal and a girl named Pheobe Their both moms have left them and Sal and Phoebe both decide to go and try to find them. Sal is going to look for her mom with her grandma and grandpa. Sal's mother is missing so they move to a different town with her father. One day at her new school she meets a girl named Phoebe. After a while thy both became really good friends. After school one day they both find out that her mom is missing. I'm giving this story 4 out of five stars because it was fun to read and there were lots of excitement. The bad stuff about it was too long of a book. Their are too many people dying in the story, some times when its excitement it becomes not that exciting. After all it's still a good book.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons By Sharon Creech Review: Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech is about a 13 year old girl named Sal. She wants to find her mother in time for her mother's birthday. Sal's gram and gramps are driving from Euclid, Ohio to Lewiston, Idaho where her mom is. Sal has 13 days to get to her destination. Along the way there are some stops and some stops are major in the story. While Sal is in the car, she is telling a story about a girl named Phoebe. She also has somewhat the same problems as Sal. Both mothers run off, but Phoebe has a lunatic on her tail. Along the way Phoebe gets four messages that give here clues to where her mother is. There are other characters in the story, including Mary Lou, Ben, Dave, and Dougie. I gave Walk Two Moons 4 out of 5 stars because it was a good book but it would skip from story to story and sometimes it would stay in one story and it was hard to follow. At they end you would have to remember all of the beginning just so you can understand the end. So that's why I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. I still recommend this book for people ages five to adult. There is one thing you need to consider when you read this book, which is that this book has 280 pages. When I read this book I liked it you could say this book is actually 2 stories in one. So it's double the fun.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: Walk Two Moons is actually two books in one. The first book is about a 13-year-old girl named Sal. She goes on a trip with her grandparents to find her missing mother. They have a lot of obstacles to over come. They have 13 days to get to Lewiston for her mom's birthday. Sal entertained her grandparents by telling them Phoebe's story. Phoebe's story is about a lunatic. Then her mom runs away. Phoebe gets scared because she finds notes at her door. Then she goes to the park and she sees... I did not like it that much because there were so many characters. Another reason is there was such a big build up you knew what was going to happen. It was to confusing with all that was going on. It started out way too slow and that made it to boring. I would not recommend Walk Two Moons and I would only give it 3 out of 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: Walk two moons is a moonful of fun Review: This book was great and amazingly written. Sharon Creech's wonderful story is about a young girls life after losing her mother. This story is great for all ages and it is no suprise to me that it won an award.
Rating: Summary: "Walk Two Moons" Class Book Review Review: In this book review are some things that our class liked and disliked. Read this book review to see if you're interested in reading "Walk Two Moons", by Sharon Creech. One of the best things in this story within a story is the characters. Sal is a 13 year old girl with long dark hair. She came from Bybanks, Kentucky and moved to Ohio. In this book Sal goes on a trip with her grandmother and grandfather, and in another plot, she's telling the story of trying to find out who "thelunatic" is. Sal has a new friend in Ohio named Phoebe Winterbottom. Phoebe lives in Euclid, Ohio where Sal moved. Phoebe is a worry wart. She worries about everthing in her path. Her mother disappeared and they have no idea where she went until the end of the book. Another good thing about "Walk Two Moons" is that there are a few cliffhangers. Like when Sal and Phoebe try to find out who was leaving the mysterious notes at the end of the chapter. Another example is when Sal tells her father that she left something under the flloboards in her room at their house in Baybanks, Kentucky. In the book "Walk Two Moons," Sharon Creech puts in good details. An example of that is the characters are described so well. In "Walk Two Moons" Phoebe doesn't like cholesterol and how Sal is emotional when either her mom dies or if her grandmother dies. Another good detail is the vocabulary in the book. Some words are gooseberry, chickabiddy, Ill-ah-no-way, Huzza, Huzzo, and Id-e-ho are some vocabulary in the book "Walk Two Moons". There are a lot of things that are sad in this book. A lot of people in this book died because there was a really bad accident on a bus. Sal finds out what really hapens to her mother. If you like a book that's mysterious and funny and sad, this is the book for you.
