Summary: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING READING
Review: This is one of the best books that I've ever read!!! Even though the story is agonizing, you become mezmorized with this woman's life. Wally Lamb is a truly gifted writerl You would never know that a man had written this book if it wasn't told. His other book, "I Know This Much Is True", is also amazing. I couldn't put either books down!!! He should write more books and share his talent with the world.

Summary: Get off the pitty potty
Review: I was totally disappointed in what I had read as being THE BOOK to read. All I could see was that she had made terrible choices and didn't see any reason to change. I tried hard to feel pity for her, but lost that ability rather quickly.

Summary: Tragic and Hilarious...
Review: Tragic and hilarious at the same time, She's Come Undone is a heartbreaking and renewing tale of what it is like to live with one of our society's most potent stigmas: obesity. Wally Lamb creats a character who at times frustrates us, but mostly reminds us how hard it is to relate to others when you are lonely, overweight, and have experienced severe trauma. As an advocate for women and a strong proponent of creating more realistic female role models for young women, I really liked Mr. Lamb's points about being obese, such as one character's comment that it's okay to be messy if you're thin, but no one likes a messy "fatty." These ideas run deep in our minds and in our culture and I think it's vital that we examine our prejudices against the obese. One review I read said that Dolores needs to stop her pity party. I disagree - I don't think Dolores ever felt sorry for herself. She mostly accepted her place in life and tried her best to find ways to live with herself and her circumstances. A touching read for anyone who has ever felt outcast, Dolores Price will make you laugh, cry, and curse all the people in the world who are so insecure that they must put others down in order to feel good about themselves.

Summary: one of the best...
Review: I can't believe that a man wrote this! As a young woman who has struggled with similar issues, I related to this story with ease. Enraptured, it took me little over 2 days to finish it... I couldn't put it down. Kudos to Wally!!!

Summary: The best book I ever read!
Review: She's Come Undone is definetly the best book I ever read. I am a 15-year old sophomore in high school, and I read the book twice a year-once over Christmas vacation and once in the summer. It is so movingly written, you would swear the writer was a woman by his profound thoughts and feelings. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Summary: Its the book I recommend to EVERYONE to read.
Review: Fantastic... I could not put this book down. This book has left a permanent impression on my mind. I recommend it to everyone, and have bought several copies for gifts. I now have friends/family asking for more recommendations. Wally Lamb has an increadible imagination that shines through in his work.

Summary: Waste of time
Review: After reading "The Notebook" (which was beautiful) and enjoying my time off before I go to my next job, I decided to read this book. The only reason I finished it was because I was hoping it would get better, and I had time to "waste". There was nothing I learned from the book - the main character did not cause me to feel sorry for her or have any positive feelings towards her, but rather look at her as a person I would not want to know... I am shocked at the number of great reviews about it!

Summary: A must read
Review: This is one of the most wonderful books I've ever read. I didn't want to put it down, and was sad when the book came to an end. Beautifully written. I recommend this novel to anyone who likes to actually feel something, when reading. Spectacular.

Summary: It was Breathtaking!!
Review: I have never saved a paperback until now! Wally Lamb made me feel as if I were the character. I could really feel the character's pain. He is a masterful writer with SHEER ELECTRIC TALENT!!

Summary: Okay Read..Not as good as I expected
Review: I just completed this book last week, and was very disappoited. I thought this would be a fast paced book that would leave me feeling good. It was neither. I really had to push myself to keep from putting it down and not going back. This was the firs book I have read that is an Oprah selection and I hope there are better ones out there. I also purchased the newest Lamb book and hope that it moves better than this one. I dont mean to be redundant but I dont particularly enjoy self pity and She's Come Undone was packed full of self pity. I would not spend the money on this one if I had it to do again my reccomendation catch it at a garage sale or borrow from a friend then if you cannt make yourself completed it you will not be out any money.
