Summary: Disgusting!!
Review: Wally Lamb has not written about a woman. In fact he hasn't written about a person. Instead he has created a victimized, spiteful, unhappy creature who has no heart or soul. Why should we care about Delores or any of Lamb's characters in fact, when they are so cartoonishly drawn. And repulsive too. Not one good apple in the whole mushy, slushy barrel. What makes people hate as much as these people do? Has their world really become so rotten? Scary thought.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: This was the best book I've read in years. I normally limit myself strictly to Stephen King, but was curious of "She's Come Undone" due to the picture on the cover. It kept my interest page to page, and I honestly couldn't put it down! It's hard to believe that a man wrote this piece! I highly recommend it to every reader!

Summary: BORING...
Review: Ugh! What a tediously dull story! I think I actually hate this book.

Dolores is a bore and a cry-baby. She continuously lets people victimize her, while she knows that she has the power to stop them, yet she doesn't. Are we actually supposed to believe that she is this inept, stupid, and ludicrous?

Don't waste your time with "She's Come Undone," unless you find the "Jerry Springer Show" high-brow entertainment...

Summary: Best Book I've Read!!!!!!
Review: I am a high school student, and i know that it is kind of unusual for a 16 year old to read a 465 page book, but once i started i could not stop. It is one of the best books I have ever read. I plan to read it again.I think that Mr. Lamb has truly found the true method of writing. It takes a lot to capture the way women are esp. if you're not a woman. I would like to thank him very much for writing this touching book. All I can say is maybe a sequel.

Summary: I suggested this book for my book club in Denver.
Review: After reading the book I had my husband listen to the book on tape. Delores is a character many women can identify with. We have all had experiences like this, but would never share them with others until we read a book like this.

Summary: I agree with Frances Butler
Review: This book has LIfe Breadth and Depth.A wonderful read. I've recommended it to 10 people so far, and I just finished it yesterday.

Summary: Engaging, impossible to put down
Review: This is a fascinating story of a troubled young girl's journey through adolesence to womanhood. Other readers are saying they could not put it down. This book was literally glued to my hands. I used to take it in the car with me and read it at stoplights and while waiing in traffic jams!

Summary: Goop for the Soul
Review: This book will NOT let you put it down. It is voyeurism at its most despicable and honest moments. Lamb writes a most believable and traumatic narrotive. You have to investigate not only the purpose of the book, but discover why it bores into your soul with the tenacity of a beaver on speed.

With its terrifying, revolting, and sometimes just downright mean characters, it is not for those with weak stomachs or hearts.

To be honest, it was not until after I finished the book that its true worth and value were realized. The end comes as a fresh sea breeze into a stale and decrepit room.

If you can get through the perils of Dolores, you too will be a survivor worthy of this book's ultimate reward.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: The book is great! I could not put it down. I only wish that I could be able to read it for the first time all over again.

Summary: I must be the only one...
Review: ...but I hated this book. The main character was unlikeable, mean, self centered then she goes through some strange transformation (that happens when she loses weight, hmmmm) and becomes endearing, considerate and altruistic.
