Summary: A courageous story, but it leaves something to be desired.
Review: In all truth, I really did enjoy reading this book (I'll be honest -- I even cried a couple times while reading it). I liked the main character, and was engrossed by the paths she chose. I also respect the author for even attempting to address weight issues -- they are not easy to discuss, and everyone has a different take on them.However, it is disheartening to see a lovable character feel that she must (and in fact does) lose weight in order to be worthy of love and happiness. Of course there are women out there who are much happier when they lose weight, but I don't believe that to be the only path to self-determination, as Mr. Lamb represents in his book. But in the end, this is the story of just one fictional character and it is a masterful one at that. I recommend reading it because it is well-written and courageous. However, I strongly encourage everyone to also think about its implications once they've finished.

Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: This book made me overlook all other rpoblems I had ever faced. She's Come Undone is one of the best books I've read in a long time, I'm sad I finished it so fast.

Review: As a first time mother with newborn, I needed a good book to relax with. This was it. I had a hard time putting it down and tending to my motherly duties!!! I'm looking forward to reading more of Wally Lambs works. I found myself a new favorite author!!!

We have all met women like Delores and now have a greater appreciation of what they are going through. At least I do.

Review: I couldn't put it down - I was reading by the headlights on a long car trip just to get more of it. Wally Lamb's portrayal of a young girl finding herself was honest and deep.

Review: I thought that this was a good book. It shows that if you have enough inner strength you can do anything. Sometimes I got mad because it was like Dolores got so far and then she fell back. Overall I thought this was a really good book.

Review: This is the best book I've read in ages! I am still in awe over the fact that Wlly Lamb is a man. I would like to know who helped him write this, since he doesn't miss a thing from a womans point of view. I think that most women will be able to intertwine their own experiences with those of Delores. Gives us another one Wally!
