Summary: Absolutely Breathtaking
Review: I'm 14 yrs old and I have just recently finished the Wally Lamb book She's Come Undone. It's one of the most intouch, vivid pieces of literature I have ever come across. I literally could not put the book down. Wally Lamb depicted the characters so well, I could almose relate them to reality. It makes you realise that these issues, could be part of our everyday life. He is one of the most cleverest moving authors of all time.

Summary: Awesome book and difficult to put down!
Review: This was such a touching book that made me cheer for Dolores to get her act together, pray for her when she couldn't to help her get on with her life and get past her barriers--no holds barred! As many people in life, one learns from their mistakes and it just took Dolores a bit longer than some, faster than others. Some NEVER get over their trauma and learn from it, but Dolores did. All I can say is good for her!!

I am compelled to recommend "She's Come Undone" as well as "This much I Know Is True" as they are both moving and inspirational with facts that everyone can learn by. Dolores is a real person with real problems. Granted, not all people have experienced what Dolores has gone through but don't knock her unless you've walked in her foot-steps. Keep up the great work, Wally Lamb!!

Summary: Wally Lamb's "She's Come Undone" is a masterpiece
Review: I have never felt this way about any book I have ever read. This book is a character masterpiece. If you have ever been overweight, read this book. If you have ever been hurt by your parents, read this book. If you have ever been hurt by a lover, read this book. If you have any human feelings at all, read this book. Lamb's main character, Doloris Price will grab a hold of your heart, and she will never let go. You will love her, you will hate her, you will pity her and you will cheer for her. You will become her

Summary: WALLY LAMB IS TOTALLY IN TOUCH WITH HIS FEMINIE SIDE!
Review: THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT BOOK, I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT IT DOWN. AS SAD AS THE MAIN CHARACTER IS, THE SADDEST THING IS WE ENCOUNTER PEOPLE LIKE THIS EVERDAY BUT ARE NEVER INVITED INTO THEIR PERSONAL HELL. VERY VIVID AND TOUCHING

Summary: Heart wrenching and amazingly talented author
Review: She's Come Undone is a book that I read a little over four years ago and I have been a huge Wally Lamb fan since. I recently read the novel again. He is my favorite author and I cannot wait for his next novel to come out. Dolores Price is a wonderful character that made you feel all emotions and someone that I could truly relate to. Being a woman you often have self esteem issues and through all her troubles she taught me how to love myself for just being me. Kudos to Wally for a novel well written! I also read I Know This Much Is True and once again I was in awe ...Wally never ceases to amaze me!

Summary: I cannot relate to Dolores at all!
Review: "She's Come Undone" is a skillfully written novel by Wally Lamb. Lamb uses an excellent choice of words in this book. He created images and ideas that were very vivid. However, I did not like his choice of a main character. Dolores Price is a very weak character. Granted, she finally found meaning and control in her life, but she was almost 40 years old when she found it. If Dolores had started to renew herself using self-discipline earlier, she would not have missed so many opportunities in her life such as: having a baby with a loving husband, visiting her grandmother, and having a job that she was proud of. I understand that Dolores had a very difficult childhood. Her mother was tragically killed, her father left her family for his new girlfriend, she was raped at age 13, and was extremely obese. However, she should have pushed towards self-improvement, and tried to get past her horrid memories. Dolores could have been a determined woman, and this would have made the novel a story of success, rather than one of regret.

Summary: Brilliant, emotional coming-of-age novel
Review: Loved it! Can hardly believe it's written by a man as it is an evocative look into the miserable, emotionally damaged life of a pre-adolescent to adult girl/woman who heals her psyche among the pages as one laughs and cries with her experiences. It does get a little long toward the end, but you don't want it to end where it does...give us more Mr. Lamb!

Summary: good, long read
Review: It's been a while since I finished "she's come undone", & I came back to Amazon's page to see what people were saying about it...It's really interesting how everybody either says it's great or terrible, but almost everyone is very passionate about it. That says something about this book! I cannot say it's one of the best ever books I've read, but it kept me very absorbed, the same as "I know this much is true" by the same author. I think Wally Lamb is very talented, especially compared to a lot of authors writing today. All in all, I thought "She's come undone" was a good read, Dolores was an interesting, although a little exaggerated character, but in the end, this book didn't "change my life" so I can't understand why everyone is SO excited & even angry when writing about it. By the way, I think "I know this much is true" is also good, probably better.

Summary: A very confused character!!!!
Review: Unfortunately, I really couldn't grasp what Dolores was going through emotionally. Dolores was a person who dwelled too much on her unhappiness and draged her past with her whenever she had a chance of happiness. She treated those who wanted to help her like crap and I really couldn't understand it. I really can't relate with what She's been through, but I think this book just dragged on her unhappy life, her mental sickness, and her search for what she couldn't have. In one word, her character was a real witch!!!

Summary: 4 stars 4 She's Come Undone
Review: She's Come Undone is an unforgetable book about one girl's incredible triumph over herself. Dolores' story is inspiring to any one who has come from a broken home, suffered a traumatic event, is depressed, or has overcome an obstacle in her life. It is easy to relate to and see a little bit of yourself in Dolores' insecurity and outlook on the world. I give this book four stars because it is an easy read and instills hope in the reader. After completing She's Come Undone, I felt energized and ready to handle whatever came my way because I knew if Dolores was able to overcome her hardships and get her life to be "normal", so could I.
