Summary: My all time favorite!
Review: This is the most captivating book I have ever read. I read the almost 500 pages in two days and would have read it faster had my body not needed sleep. I would go to work thinking about the main character and what was happening to her as if she were an actual person. I have never been so involved in a book! EVERYONE should read this!!

This book is a masterpeice, hard to put down because the plot and the characters are so true to life. How does Wally Lamb write women so well? Is he secretly a woman? Seriously if you have not already had the experience of reading this thoughful, heart-wrenching well written book, then you must perchase it or check it out of your local library. GO NOW!!!!!!!!

Summary: Amazing
Review: Being an English Major I have read numerous books through the years, yet, I have to say that this book has by far been the best book I have ever read. I can't even put into words how amazing this novel is. If you only read one book in your life, let it be this tale of a young woman's search for herself in a world of chaos and disallusionment.

Summary: DEPRESSING
Review: Everything bad that could happen did happen. Only read this if you're the type that has to have a daily pity party. Although this is fiction, it'll help you see that somewhere in the world, there's always someone who has it worse. For the rest of us, you'll just get frustrated with the main character Delores. In my opinion, she was choosing to be unhappy. Bad things happen, but she chose to focus on the negative, remain unhappy, and make everyone else around her miserable instead of accepting the love and support of those around her. Misery really does love company. I don't want to give away the ending, but nothing redeeming takes place. I was really disappointed.

Summary: A must read!
Review: This wonderful novel is definetely one that should be on your summer reading list! It's about a girl, Delores, and the decades of trouble in her life. Wally Lamb puts you in her shoes as you see all the problems she has to deal. You begin to hate those who hurt her, and love those who care for her. The amazing thing about this novel is that it's written by a man, but it is definetely from a woman's point of view. I think that mostly women would enjoy this novel, however, I have known some men to like it, too! Enjoy!

Summary: Ok book--but not as good as I Know This Much Is True!
Review: I read this book AFTER I read I Know This Much is True and I was disappointed in this book. I KNOW was much better. This was torturous to go through...not recommended. Sorry.

Summary: An Awesome Book for Teenage Girls
Review: This novel tells the story of Dolores, a young teenage girl who struggles with obesity. Dolores withstands so many hardships; deals with her low self esteem and triumphs in the end. She is such a relatable character, and Wally Lamb, a male, wrote from the female perspective perfectly. I flew through this novel.

Summary: i know dolores price
Review: speaking as a girl who lost a parent as a senior in high school, suddenly in an accident, i can relate to this book so much that its as if i had written it myself. thoughts of mine were printed word for word on the pages i just had to highlight and read outloud in amazment.
being half way through the book i reflected on the past 14 chapters and realized, though it had only been a day since i started reading, i felt like i had grown up with dolores and her memories of childhood seemed just as many years ago.
honestly, ive not yet read past page 217, and this is one of my favorite books of all time. i can't wait to see where it goes from here...

Summary: An Unbelievable Read
Review: This was my first Wally Lamb experience and I'm glad that I had it. "She's Come Undone" is an utterly unbelievable novel. Lamb tells the story of Dolores Price from childhood to adulthood without missing a single emotion. I was surprised when I looked at the back cover and saw that the book had been written my a man! It would even have been difficult for a woman to write such an honest story from a woman's perspective!
I HIGHLY recommend this book to young women, or females in general, because I guarentee that you'll be able to relate to Dolores in some way or another. Now, I don't mean to sound corny, but if you think you're in rough times and you don't think you'll ever be able to make it through, read "She's Come Undone" and I bet you'll be touched and inspired to make changes for the better.

Summary: Life Changing Book
Review: Hi,

I'm a seventeen year old secondary school student from Melbourne, Australia. Being a teenager, we are expected to read novels such as 'Sweet Valley High" etc, although there is nothing wrong with these books, i've been inspired to read slightly different books than normal teenagers. My love of books stems from a lonely isolated childhood, i have read hundreds if not thousands of books in my seventeen years, however not one of these books has affected me in the way She's Come Undone has. I have read this book in excess of six times, each time i fall more in love with Wally Lamb's views and characters. This book has changed my life, it allows readers to think about the issues presented in the privacy of their own minds and make a decision about them , or in my case move on from the issues i shared with Dolores. I'm presently trying to write a formal review on this book for a school assignment, however my feelings towards this book cannot be expressed in any other way than i just have. The issues in this book hit me and my teacher (who i recommended She's Come Undone to) in the heart and i have found something new to discuss with him, something that enables us to relate to each other on a level other than teacher/student.

To finish, i would just like to reiterate what i've said before. This book truely changed my life and reading it has made me a more whole person.
