Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent book and a wonderful new author!
Review: This was truly one of the best books I have read. I found myself unable to put it down. It is a very entertaining book and I wanted to continue to learn more and more about the character.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I was captivated by Dolores Price's life story...
Review: Wally Lamb caught my attention with the very first sentence of this novel. I couldn't put the book down. I found myself sympathizing with and rooting for Dolores at many points in the story.

I would highly recommend this novel for any one. There is so much to learn about Dolores. Often, the occurrences in her life made me reflect on my own life... taught me a lesson or two.

I feel this novel will touch people in different ways. There will be situations that some relate too while others cannot... Yet, Wally Lamb has included something for everyone right down to the very sounds and smells of objects and food...

It's one of the best books that I have read in long time.

Summary: please sir, may i have some more?
Review: i know that this book is going to make the "chick" reader list, but it is so much more. not only did i gobble the pages in two days, i felt that my feelings towards certain events in my life were justified through the very human dolores. read it if you want, but don't knock it 'cause you're a guy, and don't want to be caught reading a "girl" book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I was drawn into Dolores' story from the first sentence...
Review: I think Wally Lamb is an exquisite storyteller who forces his audience to feel his characters' pain whether they want to or not. Then, just when you think the situation is hopeless, he somehow manages to inject a spark of humor and suddenly you can't wait to turn the page! The one aspect of this book that I didn't care for was the all-too-convenient way in which Dolores was able to "snag" Dante, who was of course, available after all those years. Other than that, I thought Lamb's story was fresh, honest, gritty, and very enjoyable! Oh, and....FUNNY!!

Summary: E!X!C!E!L!L!E!N!T 5 stars does not do this book justice!
Review: I really love she's come undone. It is the most realistic book that I have ever read. The author, Wally Lamb wrote so convincingly in the voice of a female that I find it hard to belive that he wrote it. Words cannot express how much this book means to me. I have never felt so renewed after I have read a book. I would love to read his new book if only I could get a handle on it. Yes, I may be a 19 year old actress who has spent more time on the set of Romeo & Juliet, and My so- called life, but I do know what an excellent book this is . I will be attending Yale this fall, and I will be sure to bring this book to my professers attention.I would love to express my gratitude to the writer for opening my eyes. I will never forget Dolores Price. Love Always, Claire Danes

p.s- I have been looking for a web sight on this book for the longest time!! I am so glad I found you guys!!!!!!!

Summary: I came undone
Review: Unfortunately, I am able to relate to Dolores on many levels. Infact, I could have been her, though I hope I wasn't as unlikable as Dolores. She is so bitter and manipulative it is hard to be happy for her when she finally confronts death and welcomes love. I felt more for Dante, her self absorbed, cheating husband, than I did Dolores. But despite my opinions regarding Delores, I enjoyed the book. The story is well conceived - the characters real.

Summary: A triumph!
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I've read it twice over the past year. Wally Lamb portray's a female character so acurately it's almost eery.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Read this book in less than a week. It's one of my faviorts!
Review: I thought that this book was excellent. I had not really read in a long time and picked this book up one day and a few days later I was done. It's a book that a lot of people could relate. Wally Lamb is an great author.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Smart, funny ironic, erotic, depressing yet touching.
Review: I possitivly loved this book more than any other i'd ever read. it told the story of Doloris Price, a young fat girl growing up in a like of painful hell. living her whole life along with her as she ironically follows her mother's unusual life pattern, i found this book unlike any other i'd ever read or heard of.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Starts slow, but eventually sucks you in!
Review: After reading the first 50 pages or so, I thought, "What is all the hype with this book?" But I figured people had to be reading this for some reason! And am I glad I continued! Although Dolores has problems communicating with those around her, she has no problem communicating to the reader. I felt her pain, felt her confusion, felt her frustration. This was really a great read and I would recommend it to anybody with this one note: If you can make it through the beginning, you will be rewarded in the end.
