Rating: Summary: OH THIS STORY IS SO CUTE! Review: Im sorry. IM a typical teen who thinks everything is cute, but this just is. The story is simiply adorable! Alright enough teen talk and onto my review:I read this book when I was in 4rth grade and then was made to read it again when I was in 6th grade. Both times when I read it I loved it. Though it sounds odd that I was reading at lower grades, it was still a very cute and still is a very good and well written story. The Cat and Dog in the story (Who's names have slipped my mind) think that the new pet bunny is vampire! The entire story is about how they are going to get rid of the bunny. I think the plot itself is very good! I mean when is that last time you saw someone writing about a vampiric bunny? The story is orginal and funny. I reccomend this to anyone, no matter what your age might be.
Rating: Summary: Funny with a tinge of horror Review: In "Bunnicula," which is narrated by a dog, a rabbit discovered in a movie theater turns out to be a vampire--or does it? The family cat is convinced and goes to great lengths to protect his oblivious family, landing himself in hot water more than once. There are nice touches for adults in this book (e.g., the mysterious delivery of the manuscript), and everyone will find the action amusing. The ending is a little pat and comes too quickly. The book is good for reading aloud, but not so compelling that it can't be put down. Younger children may be a little scared by the vampire aspect.
Rating: Summary: Vampire Bunnicula Review: We think Bunnicula is a vampire for many reasons. Bunniculacomes from a Dracula movie and has a note in the CarpathianMt. language from Transylvania. Then one night Bunnicula looked like he was gathering sustenance from the moonlight and a V-shape mark was going down his back like a cape. The next morning Mr. Monroe found a white tomato. All of the juice had been sucked out. Soon other white veggies appeared. One night Bunnicula got out of his cage all by himself. These are the reasons we think Bunnicula is a vampire.

Rating: Summary: Bunnicula Review: Bunnicula was a thrilling story, it was hard to stop when reading time was over at school. I often was a little late for what was next. I was very very sad when I finished it. I wished it would go on forever and I still do. I very much look forward to reading the second book. Bunnicula was a heart warming story. Funny, almost to funny at times. I think it could warm the heart of the stingiest grumpiest person on earth. Hannah
Rating: Summary: A Very Funny Mystery Review: There's a dog named Harold and a cat named Chester. One night the Monroe's came home from a movie and found a bunny, they named it Bunnicula. That night Chester thought Bunnicula was a Vampire. The next morning the Monroe's found a white piece of lettuce. Chester thought Bunnicula had sucked the juice of the lettuce through his fangs. These strange going-ons contiuned for two weeks, until Chester filled the whole Living room with garlic, plus he stopped Bunnicula from eating any food. Then Harold, the dog, saw Chester trying to strave Bunnicula. The next day Harold gave some salad to Bunnicula, but Chester tried to stop them. The Monroe's thought that Bunnicula was ill [because Chester was trying to starve Bunnicula]. The family's Vet found that Bunnicula was only hungry and put Bunnicula on a diet of carrot juice. The bunny liked this very much and stopped sucking vegetable.
Rating: Summary: This was a book? Review: This story was very dull and had no meaning. If you would like to buy something interesting read C.L.U.T.Z. or the Harry Potter series, anything but this.
Rating: Summary: One of the most entertaining stories I've read! Review: The first time I was introduced to this book was as a child in elementary school. My teacher read us a little bit of this book everyday right before lunch. I got my own copy a couple years later and have reread it a couple time every year - quite a few times as I'm now 26! I love the opening page where Harold is sitting in front of the nice, warm radiator. It always made me feel like curling up under a blanket in the middle of winter with this book. My favorite character is Chester (the cat) because he's so zany. He provides non-stop entertainment in his quest to get rid of the vampire bunny. To this day, I still laugh when I get to the part where he has to pound a stake into the vampire's heart! I would recommend this book to kids of all ages (even the over 20 group)!
Rating: Summary: Bunnicula: The Ultimate in Escape Fiction for Children Review: Deborah Howe's sense of child entertainment and enrichment is out of this world, and Bunnicula, A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery, is a monument of that sense. Reading Bunnicula is one of the fondest memories I have of the third grade--absolutely priceless. This book is a must for fun-loving, imaginative children.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful, Funny Book Review: I read this book repeatedly as a child and am now buying it for my husband who never read it. It is truely a must for all little people. :)
