Rating: Summary: Bunnicula Review: If you like interesting books you may like this book that is called Bunnicula. This is a about a rabbit that was found at a dracula movie. Some people brought it home with them and then it just goes on. You should read this book. I like it because Bunnicula is a vampire and he has red eyes.
Rating: Summary: The cuddliest vampire of all time Review: If you're a fan of vampire stories and don't like this book, you're goofy. No there aren't any thousand year old walking bloodsuckers trying to take over the world, or goth vampire girls in tight black clothing seducing their prey to their trendy havens like you see in every other vampire book out there. What there IS is a charming twist on the vampire for kids, and a heck of a story and some of the most creative characters and dialogue that you'll find, both in kids and adult fiction.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I loved this book and the rest of the series. I remember foundly getting them from the school book fair.I plan on reading them to my little girl..
Rating: Summary: A charming twist on the vampire theme Review: Bunnicula manages to be, all at once, warm and clever, as well as a good "scare remover" for kids, AND a lesson in tolerance. Highly recommended for reading to children; charming for them, and both amusing and ironic for you. It takes the standard vampire fare and twists it, kindly, for younger readers.
Rating: Summary: Cape and Fangs Caper! Review: This cute animal fantasy is a quick and easy read, filled with plenty of dialogue and amusing family dynamics. Harold, the kind-hearted canine narrator, faithfuly relates the bizarre events following the introduction of a black and white rabbit into a family of two pre-teen boys. Book-educated Chester, the wise cat, however, is immediately suspicious of the new pet, whose name tag was written in a Carpathian dialect-uh-oh! Easy-going Harold tries to befriend the the little fellow, yet even he has to admit that plenty of odd stuff happens after dark. Are humans just slower to "catch on" than the four-footed world? Are the authors making not-so-subtle pleas for nutritious doggy snacks and humane bunny care? If you recall the self-analysis craze of the '70's, you'll chuckle at this spook of America's mania to get-in-touch-with-your-inner-self near the end of the book. Go, Dr. Crazy Cats! This is for kids of all ages-relax with Dracula Lite!
Rating: Summary: Funny! Review: I have read this book 6 times, and I stillcant get enough of it. I like the characters, especily Chester becuase he had a crazy idea to spear vegetables with tooth-picks becuase he thought that they were zombies. The rest of the book is also very funny so I know whoever reads it will get a laugh out of it.
Rating: Summary: A family classic Review: I read this book for the first time when I was 8 years old- and I absolutely loved it! It's hysterical and I really hope to be able to pass it on to my kids when I have them. This is good, quality writing that gets kids involved and excited about reading- something that is priceless in and of itself.
Rating: Summary: ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! Review: We are homeschoolers, Christians, and we love Bunnicula stories. Hilarious! Charming! A great start for young readers.
Rating: Summary: Fun book- kids love it! Review: My daughters took turns reading this to me and it was a fun read for all of us. Poor little Bunnicula-turned into a vampire by the imagination of an evil cat. Almost made me like those varmints that keep eating my veggie garden! Also, my daughter chose this book for her book review for second grade and it was so much fun to dress her up as the "Bunnicula". My kids are 7 and 8 and love it---can read to a younger age group especially if interested in mystery or cute furry animals.
Rating: Summary: Bunnicula Review: Bunnicula Bunnicula is about a dog named Harold, a cat named Chester, and the Monroe family. Chester thinks that Bunnicula, the family's new pet rabbit, is a vampire. The Monroe family included Mr. Monroe, Mrs. Monroe, and their sons named Pete and Toby. Chester tries to convince Harold to watch Bunnicula carefully. Some very strange things started to happen after Bunnicula arrived. He stayed awake at night and slept all day. Some mornings Mrs. Monroe would find that some of her vegetables had turned completely white. Bunnicula even looked like he had fangs! I really liked Bunnicula because the animals could talk. Harold is the one who told the story. I liked the way he described Chester's crazyness.
