Review: Wow! It's rare to find a book so exquisite and enticing that you read it very slowly because you don't want the experience to end! The Venetian Affair is such a book. Unbelievably researched and beautifully written this work transports you to the grand cities of 18th Century Europe. More than a love story it's the detailed life of two extraordinary human beings and the culture and times in which they lived. It's a unique and slightly voyeuristic experience to read their thoughts and elegantly written letters in the 21st Century. My compliments to the author who did an incredible job of bringing this story to life. I loved this book!
