Summary: Got a boring weekend....get a Howard book, pure excitement!
Review: Linda Howard writes "original" rather than "formula" plots. Her heros are great...but her heroines are unforgettable. I always look forward to a Howard release. A guaranteed great read. Nobody makes you turn a page faster...romance and mystery at its best!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Spellbounding
Review: Although this book is a Linda Howard standard, in forms of the plot and love making scenes. I couldn't help but be disappointed in how quickly the main characters Richard and Sweeny fell in love. Also the usage of ghosts were a major turn off.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: WOW!! Howard has really improved her story telling skills.
Review: I read the book in one sitting. The story was great, but the love scenes could have been written without the crude language Howard tends to use. That was a complete turn off.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Easy reading; some aspects of story are a little far-fetched
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. Linda Howard has an easy style of writing. However, I found the immediate relationship formed between Sweeney and Richard a little rushed and unrealistic; although it was fun reading!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: suprisingly humorous!
Review: though i have read lots of linda howard's books before, i have to say this is the first one that made me laugh out loud! the suprising bit of humor makes it one of my favorite linda howards and it is definitely a page-turner.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Amaturish beginning, objectionable language, great ending.
Review: This book is not up to the standards of Dream Man or Shades of Twilight. I was disappointed for the first half with the amaturish beginning. It got better toward the end. I disliked the filthy language that was reminiscent of After the Night and thought there was no need for it. I will still buy new Linda Howard books because she is still one of my favorites, but I was disappointed.

Summary: LINDA DOES IT AGAIN
Review: A combination of a murder myster, love story and ghost story, NOW YOU SEE HER is a roller coaster ride of excitement. The main character Sweeny has just realized that she can see ghosts. If that isn't bad enough, her internal thermometer is on the blink, she begins to paint horrible death scenes in her sleep, men suddenly notice how good she looks, and she has fallen in "lust" with her boss/friend's soon to be ex-husband. When Sweeny and Richard really look at each other for the first time, you can feel the heat coming off of the page. You will find yourself glued to the pages as the story unfolds. A word of advice, don't start reading this book unless you have the time to finish it. It's like potatoe chips - One you start - you can't stop.

Summary: "DREAM MAN" rehash
Review: I love Linda Howard -- usually. This book is simply a re-hash of DREAM MAN (fantastic -- get that one instead). Very disappointing and FAR below Howard's talent.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: ARE YOU COLD YET?? START A FIRE BEFORE READING THIS!!
Review: GRIPPING, COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN, VERY EASY READING, BUT I THINK THE ENDING COULD OF BEEN BETTER. I KNEW WHO THE KILLER WAS BEFORE THE END. ONCE I KNEW THAT I THOUGHT THE BOOK WAS EVEN GOING TO GET BETTER. BUT, HAPPILY EVER AFTER IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!! MY FIRST LINDA HOWARD READ!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Rather dissappointing :-(
Review: Despite her recent offering, Ms Howard will nevertheless still be one of my all time favourite authors. For those whose first intro to Ms Howard's work was Now You See Her....you ain't seen nothin' yet till you read this Top 3! After The Night, Shades of Twilight and Duncan's Bride. P/S Dear Ms Howard, I am waiting patiently for Chance Mackenzie's and John Medina's turn at your creative spinning. Please knock my socks off with their stories!! I hope I don't have to wait till the year 2000 though.
