Summary: I loved this book!
Review: The characters were so unusual. I really thought that this book was one of her best. I liked how Sweeney and Richard became an "item" early on in the book, and were there for each other thoughout the book. Many of the other reviews compare this book to "Dream Man", but I like this one better. I thought Richard made a much more likable hero. I would recommend this book very highly to anyone!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: As usual, a gripping story.
Review: I love all the Linda Howard books. In this one she has drawn a different heroine who is completely unique. The mystery is well set up and ably solved. I do wish that Linda had not turned to using as much vulgar language as she did.

Summary: Ms. Howard still has it!
Review: The paranormal theme was done well and I think the heroine portrayed herself well. I admit that it wasn't as intense as her previous novel Dream Man, I still wasn't able to put it down. The story flowed very easily and the connections of her newfound powers and her relationship with the hero is easy to see. It's a must read!

Summary: An enjoyable read
Review: If anyone else had written this book, I'd have been singing its praises. But Ms Howard's books usually have something extra that this seemed to lack. Maybe it was a bit too predictable without much real interaction between the lovers -- in comparason to Ms Howards other books. And there were several fascination aspects to Sweeney's gifts that would have been fun to hear more about. Even so, a darn good book. Read it.

Summary: Mediocre Linda Howard is better than most other authors.
Review: I am very glad that Linda Howard made it to mainstream publishing because she certainly deserves it. I'm just sorry that it had to be with "Now You See Her" because she has written scores of better books. Maybe it is unfair to expect her to hit a home run every time, but I expected something better for my $20 plus. I did not find Sweeney a particularly appealing character nor the hero in anyway memorable. And I have to ask this: why did such a powerful, wealthy man neglect to have adequate security arrangements at his house, thus enabling the murderer to just walk in the back door of the house? Considering how worried he and the police were about Sweeney's safety, they did not even think to check the back door? Even if the hero's staff had gone out, nobody thought to secure the treasure-laden home of a millionaire? Oh, well, I won't complain about the $20 anymore; Linda Howard has given me priceless entertainment over the years with most of her books.

Summary: Another Grad Coup!
Review: I love Linda Howard. She writes the most incredible stories, and as always, she puts the right mixture of mystery and romance. What I loved about this story is that the relationship between Sweeney and Richard progressed in a way that seemed belieavable to me. The care Richard provided to Sweeney was so endearing that it made me think why men couldn't be more like that at times. Linda Howard's use of paranormal abilities is one other reason I loved this book. I strongly recommend the book. If you liked the use of paranormal abilities in this book, I also recommend "Dream Man".

Summary: Disappointing
Review: Linda Howard's latest is very disappointing. Predictable and trite, it's an unfortunate debut for her first hardcover. Let's hope her next effort is more successful.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A page turning mystery love story for all romance readers.
Review: An edge of the seat tale that incorporates romance, mystery and paranormal experiences has been produced in Linda Howard's first hardcover. Sweeney, Richard and Candra are a believable individuals caught in a situation that both destorys and forges deep, strong ties between individuals in a condensed period of time. If you enjoy Kill and Tell or Elizabeth Lowell's Amber Beach, this is a must read for you

Summary: Fantastic!!!
Review: For all Linda Howard fans, this book is a must. Not sence " Dream Man", has Linda written such a compelling story. Her journey into the supernatural is spell binding not to mention hair raising. I have read all of her books, and this one will be in my top ten list of favorites. Sit back and enjoy!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not her best/not her worst
Review: Linda Howard is one of my very favorite authors, but this work is definitely not her best. It is a good read, but I agree with one of the other reviewers in that it was similiar (paranormal) to DREAM MAN, which was excellent. She is capable of much better. I will still buy her next book whenever it comes out.
