Summary: Well written book to read at the right time.
Review: Our world has gone through and is still going through change and this novel was not stressful but with all the sex etc. the real meaning of the book is for people to get over it and love other people. To do all they learned in kindergarden so to speak. Yancy really changed and so did Basil and when we change we are nicer on the whole. I am looking forward to his next book and this was a re-assuring book at this time . I was as always quite please.

Summary: EXCELLENT READ
Review: I couldn't wait until E. Lynn Harris came out with this book. I read it in 2 days and couldn't put it down. I am an avid fan of Mr. Harris and this is definately an excellent book.

Summary: He's A Master
Review: I have the whole Saga, if you didn't know there was more to it then just Yancey then you must start from the beginning when Raymond started it off. I found these novels to be very helpful when dealing with my feelings towards homosexuals. Honey let me tell you between E. Lynn and Hardy I was turn pages like tricks. I recommend this book and and every other one to everyone...Happy Reading

Summary: Disappointed!
Review: I am really disappointed in E. Lynn Harris's latest novel. Maybe I'm just getting tired of Basil's character, or the fact that he's still "doing his dirt, and getting away with it." I feel that Harris left us, the readers, hanging by NOT bringing closure Basil's indiscretions. What he exposed? Or, is he still undercover? This was never answered. Did he stay with the mother of his child, or he just playing the supporting father role? I'm ready for a new set of characters!

Summary: E Lynn has done it again!
Review: I cant believe E Lynn Harris actually had me feeling sorry for Basil! I have followed him from the beginning, and he's always been the worst. Bart was terrible, but I was glad to see what came of him at the end. I would really like to read more about Raymond in E Lynn's next book. It seems like he got away from him, and he was the main character at first. Anyway, great job as usual Mr. Harris!

Summary: Fly a Kite Instead
Review: I generally enjoyed this read from E. Lynn, but it seems like this would have been better as three more chapters at the end of his previous book. The characters didn't really grow, their issues didn't really evolve and the plot was a little predictable.

It has entertainment value, and if you're wanting to read something light and decadent (kinda like eating one of those Dove chocolate bars) on the plane down to Negril or some place restful, it will work for you.

Summary: A GUILTY PLEASURE
Review: ... This is a breezy, indulgent read. The kind of book you read on a weekend with a pint of Ben & Jerry and a bottle of Stoli. Harris hooks you with characters that are two dimensional at best, but they offer glimmers of redemption beyond their "spoiled brat" facades. My only kaveat is the same I've had with Harris' other books, the dialogue just seems so unnatural or forced, like a tepid prime time soap. But, that aside I read this in a day (like his others) because I couldn't wait to see what happened next. So, if you want to escape "reality" at this time, inhabit Harris' version for awhile.

Summary: Must Read!
Review: E. Lynn has done it again! What can I say? You just can't go wrong with this man......

Summary: Enjoyed it!
Review: I've read the first three books of E. Lynn Harris and thought those were EXCELLENT. I've missed a few books in between so as I was reading this book, I fealt like I needed to go back read the books I missed. Other than that the whole revenge thing was really deep and E. Lynn keeps you wanting to know more and what's going to happen next. Needless to say, I read the book in a matter of two days. For my own sanity, I'm going to back track and read the books I missed.

Summary: Not Bad...
Review: I have to admit that I stayed up all night reading "Any Way The Wind Blows." And it was a page turner, full of scandal and sex and adventures, but I wasn't feeling the characters--the fullness of their personalities. And the book felt like it was written in a rush. It had all this potential with the plot building up--Bart and Basil's mutual vengeance; Basil's bisexuality FINALLY getting revealed to the rest of the world; Yancey's career; Ava's involvement with Bart. None of this came to pass; this book was--as another reviewer pointed out--anticlimatic. And a lot of his books have been that way lately. It's good entertainment; unfortunately Harris' books are beginning to have less and less substance.
