Summary: A great book to read!
Review: Violet(inventor), Klaus(smarty), and Sunny(sharp-toothed baby) are orphans who have a family fortune that an Evil man named Count Oalf wants to get. I love this serise and I have read all of them. It is very funny, exciting, and intersesting. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read! First I would read 1-7 before reading this book.

Summary: The Hostile Hospital
Review: This book is great. If you like Harry Potter, you'll love this! Its about three orphans who go through many hardships, but it isn't a sad book. I wasn't able to put it down, and I'm looking forward to the ninth book.

Summary: These stories get sadder and sadder
Review: Accussed of murder the children, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, flee the Village to a weird hospital. But Count Olaf isn't about to let their fortune get away. He has plans, big plans. And so begins another series of unfortunate events. This is sad but hilarious. I also recommend Robert Stanek's wonderful Kingdoms and the Elves, and the Elf Queen and the King. Wonderful!

Summary: The best of the bunch
Review: This one was the most impossible to put down. I can't wait for #9. They have to go through problem after problem as usual, but this time everyone is after them and thinks they are criminals!
Nothing else written is like this series so there is nothing to compare it with. I guess you just have to appreciate this dark and horrible book for what it is.....GREAT!!!!

Summary: Really,really GREAT
Review: I love the books Lemony Snicket writes. If you would like to read the Series of Unfortunate Events you will find out about the three Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus and Sunny. Throughout all the books a villain named Count Olaf is trying to capture them and steal the fortune their parents left behind when they died. He follows the Baudelaires everyplace they have to live, bringing one of his evil assistants with him. In about every book the Baudelaires find themselves in grave danger. All the books are full of excitement, adventure and some comedy. That is why I think everyone should read these books!!!!!

Summary: Weaker entry in the series
Review: The eighth entry in the outstanding "Unfortunate Events" series is a notch below the others. The plot is good and moves along quickly. The orphans find themselves in the middle of nowhere after the hot air balloon that they used to escape From Count Olaf is deflated. They also find themselves wanted by authorities for the murder of Jacques Snicket. They spend the remainder of the book trying to allude the authorities and solve the ongoing mystery of Jacques Snicket and VFD. The descriptions of the half-finished hospital where they volunteer and the over-stuffed general store are the type of classic creativity we expect from this series. Unfortunately, the orphans are on their own this time and are not sent to live with a guardian, which detracted from the book for me. Fortunately, Lemony Snicket has promised that there will be 13 books in this series and I am eagerly awaiting #9.

Summary: Terrific!
Review: This is truely the best of the eight. It has a lot of character development and more then ever has a sense of cyncical views and comments on society

Summary: The Hostile Hospital
Review: This book is the latest in the Series. The series begins in Book 1 when Mr. Poe, a banker who is a friend of the Baudelaires, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny visits them at the beach and changes their life forever. The kids find that their parents have died in a fire. The orphans go from Guardian to Guardian, each one kicks them out or is killed by Count Olaf, a greedy, awful man who wants to kill the Baudelaires for their fortune. I found this book scary, but I liked it just the same, I think you'll like it too. The whole series is full of mysteries and you'll have fun trying to solve them and then seeing if you are right.

Summary: Exciting book
Review: The series of Unfortunate Events books are some of the best books I have ever read. They are all exciting-and scary at times.
This is the basic information on this series. The orphans-Violet, Klaus, and Sunny's parents die in a horible house fire. They have no close relitives, so they are sent to Count Olaf-an evil man. In the first book they escape from his clutches, just barely. But through all eight of the books, he is trying to steal their forchan.
I LOVED this book and recomend it to people 10 and up. When I started one of these books, I personaly couldn't put it down until I finnished it. Then I kept begging my mom to get me the next book. Once again YOU should read this book. Go to a bookstore and get it NOW!

Summary: Wow!
Review: Lemony Snicket has done it again, the eighth time! Snicket has class, spunk, suspense, and humor in his books. His style is so different I'd rather read this then Harry Potter! I highly reccomend for all ages!
