Summary: Gripping
Review: I found it almost impossible to put this book down. When I wasn't reading it I was probably thinking about it! This is a great book... very interesting... but amazingly not one of Kellerman's best! The story line is fascinating and I like the main character Alex, and his friend Sturgis a lot. They are funny and real. Pyschology is very interesting to me and Kellerman provides a lot of it!

Summary: Good read, but not great.
Review: I found this bood easy to read. Good beach book, but nothing that you'll remember for a long time. If you're looking for a good psychological mystery (no thriller) that you can breeze through, this is the book. If you want a real "thriller", this isn't the book.

Summary: A rivetting read as can be expected from Kellerman
Review: I have loved all Kellerman's books expect "The Butcher's Theatre". "The Clinic" draws you in almost immediately because you like Alex Delaware so much and also his love interest Robin. You like Alex so much you want him to succeed and solve the mystery surrounding Hope Devane's murder. You also can't help liking Alex's friend Milo the gay detective even though he is a little ragged around the edges (his sexuality notwithstanding). I love the way Kellerman throws you red herrings but ties everything together neatly at the climax. I always find myself in the position of not being able to wait until his next book comes out.

Summary: Good But Not His Best
Review: I liked the way this one started, but then things slowed down. Too much analyzing the possibilities. I like to work out the mysteries for myself. I'm glad Milo is back, but I would have liked a little more of Robin in this one. Still, these are some of my favorite recurring characters and it was nice to catch up with them again.

Summary: Not pleased
Review: I started reading the book anticipating a great mystery/detective novel, but first it took me a while to get into (about half way) and then when I did get into it I still found it to be a dry read. I was expecting a page turning exciting book, but instead I found that the parts of the book that were supposed to be exciting and mysterious, I would start dosing off and continue reading the following day. I good book makes you stay up longer, regardless of how tired you actually are. I will give Mr. Kellerman the benefit of the doubt and try some of his other books, but I have to say that I cannot say I loved this book. It was an okay read...

Review: I started reading the book anticipating a great mystery/detective novel, However, it first took me some time to get into it(about half way) and I still found it to be a dry read. I was expecting a page turning, exciting and mysterious book, but instead I found that the parts of the book that were meant to be exciting and mysterious, would be boring and found myself dosing off. A good book makes you stay up, regardless of how tired you actually are. I will give Mr. Kellerman the benefit of the doubt and will read another book by him, but I definately cannot say I loved this book. It was a very dry read...

Summary: Lukewarm recovery from The Web
Review: I'm a fan of Jonathon Kellerman so I decided to forgive him his stunning failure (in my humble opinion, of course) in The Web. This book takes Alex Delaware out of the clouds and out of the Carribean and places him back in Southern California where he belongs. This book is back-to-the-basics Kellerman. You have a crime, a twisting plot, and an interesting solution to an interesting mystery. None of the Nuclear wastoid science-fiction mumbo jumbo Kellerman resorted to in the Web. Thanks Mr. Kellerman for bringing me a reason to read some more of your novels. Now, I hope you'll find a little more inspiration so I can give a better review than its "Good, A heckuva lot better than his last one."

Summary: This is not Mr. Kellerman's normal work.....
Review: I've have been a huge fan of Mr Kellerman's
work for the longest time, but I have to say The
Clinic seems to be one of those books that he
did just to fulfill his contract. It started like one
of his normal stories but went downhill from there
The ending was not your typical Dr. Delaware
novel, and I type this with great disappointment.
Maybe, and this pains me to say but, Maybe its time to put Dr. Delaware to rest. If not, then
maybe don't be so prolific and put a little more
heart and soul like most of the previous novels
written by Mr.Kellerman. Believe me this is not
a slam on the author but its just to show my view
that sometimes a little less is better than a lot
more.

Summary: Boring
Review: I've read two Delaware books and both I've had to skip several chapters in order to get to the end and FINISH the darn thing!

I tried to skip to the last page, and I still have no idea who did it. A waste of my time.

Summary: Kellerman's back on track!
Review: I, like my co-readers above, was sadly disappointed in "The Web". I couldn't even finish it. So, I crossed my fingers when I purchased "The Clinic", hoping to find once again the enjoyment I experienced in all of Kellerman's previous books. I am pleased to say this is another winner
